You can trim every 3rd LED light bulb to only use what you need, it is waterproof, and very adequate in lighting. Love the fact it needs only 12volts, so the energy savings are there. The 3M stick tape is a pretty good adhesive. Cons: I ordered 2 LED strips of the same. When I received both, one LED strip was a soft white, and the other was bright white (even though both were labeled the same). Marketplace seller did not take approriate responsibility for his mistake (wanted me to pay a 15% re-stock fee due to non-defective product), and still has not issued RMA. Seller had made this a very negative experience, and Newegg did not back me up on this. I have to play email tag with this seller, and no resolution after a week, hence the 2 egg rating.
