The product is built with a nice metal housing which can be taken off of ever needed. Remember you will need to jailbreak if you want to use this for a ipod touch gen 4. Cons: This adapter eats up batter life! Make sure you always have it plugged so you don't drain your device in 15minutes. You can feel the heat coming from the draining power in the adapter.
