Other Thoughts: invest in a quality battery recharger and batteries for your wireless 360 controller.if your having trouble getting it to work,go to Microsoft site,follow their instructions.Take your time,if your computer is loaded with junk and other garbage,chances are nothing will work,do a clean install of Windows,run malware and antivirus software.Windows anti virus is free and is one of the best,Cleverbridge has a excellent Malware software ,I used the trial then bought the pro for 29.95,excellent,well worth the money.If you must look at ladies,by a magazine,movie.Keep it off your PC.

Pros: Bleh

Cons: Can't get this thing to work. Tried the manual install of the drivers everyone talks about, but still doesn't work. The Device doesn't even blink when you press the button on it, stays solid no matter what. I've given up, had a couple of friends who have this device to try and help me but to no avail.

Other Thoughts: Argh! Took the darn thing long enough to get here and not work!

Pros: After customizing the drivers to no avail by editing the .inf files to match the Hardward ID's; the legacy hardware addition using the extracted driver from the Microsoft Setup .exe file does work... not easy but saves money!

Cons: 3 step custom driver install method required =

1. Download of Microsofts XBOX Controller .exe @ http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/d/xbox-360-controller-for-windows

2. Dont run setup.... instead , Extract the .exe file contents using program such as - WINRAR to folder.

3. Plug in device > go to Device manager > update driver > manual driver install > point to that folder you just made.

Other Thoughts: i fully understand tough driver installs are expected for proprietary products, a google search can provide you several install options.. just find the one that works for you.... i should have worked harder before posting my review ; as it does work as promised.

Pros: Bought this for 2nd pc. Great product when it works. I have Microsofts' receiver , unplugged it , plugged this in and its not recognized. So they have proprietary drivers for Microsoft technology...

Cons: Drivers supplied do not support 64bit OS. Microsofts' driver doesn't recognize the device since the driver was already installed on my system.

Other Thoughts: Works great on my 32 bit systems and VM's but it would be nice if it was better supported.

Pros: Cheap, simple, exactly what was needed.
Would buy another if I needed to.

Cons: Have to find the device driver yourself on the Microsoft web site. That's OK since the instructions are here in the Newegg product description, although they could be a little clearer.

Other Thoughts: Uses the standard Microsoft device driver, so had to google a bit to find that. Works fine with Win 7 x64. Once you're up and running with it, it's simple.

Pros: Works and can use my xbox 360 turtle beach head set.

Cons: PDF file on the disk didnt help so a simple google search found the fix to get it working.

Other Thoughts: Shipping took forever. I ordered on the 22nd of November and got it today the 3rd of December. It didn't ship till the 24th.

Pros: No one delivers faster than newegg,I don't think I have to repeat that...This item came brand new,in the box,with all the accessories...

Cons: driver disk that it came with was absolute garbage... had to go on the web and find them, then that didnt work, so i had to pull some windows trickery i found on a forum to get it to work...
