No need to remove the battery door on your camera, this just slides right over it. love the lowered grip, makes the hand feel at home when taking portraits. Cons: Obviously no weather sealing but for the price, that's expected. Buttons seem cheap but again, the price cant be beat. Lacks a playback button. wish the on/off switch mimicked that of the cameras on/off switch (around the shutter release) Other Thoughts: First one I received was DOA. But an email later and a new one was on the way with a return shipping label. 5 stars for the speedy turnaround. Second product worked without a hitch and have been using it ever since.
