Cons: Autofocus does not stay focused in videos and fuzzes out frequently. Lot's of still pictures are out of focus. Another con is that the two battery canon cameras tend to lose a picture if you try to take another shot before the buffer is cleared. This happens most often when you are taking a very important shot and try to take a second shot to ensure you have the pic....but you lose the good shot because you did not wait for the first one to clear the buffer.

Tech Level: 5/5
Ownership: 4/5
Rating: 2/5So so
Pros: Good optical zoom Writes fast to SD card Feels nice in the hand
Cons: Even at highest settings and lowest ISO with lots of light the images are grainy. Just goes to show the the MP means nothing when it comes to a digital cameras picture quality.

Tech Level: 4/5
Ownership: 2/5
Rating: 3/5Image noise too much
Pros: Uses aa batteries. Many nice functions. Nice overall.
Cons: Can't uses alkalines...really eats batteries. Keep Nimh spares handy. Powerful flash eats batteries. Image noise high above ISO 200. Horrible to me for enlargements.
Other Thoughts: I love Canon for point and shoot...well I used too. I use Nikon for DLRs. After using Canon p/s for over a decade I won't buy another one. I went to Olympus. This camera is great for 4x6 shots, but using the higher iso's degrades enlarged images....had no problem with this with older Canon's.
