In-Ear Headphones

Our first speakers came out in 1982 and fans still scour the Web to buy used versions of those originals. That should tell you something about the quality of our speakers. Paradigm SHIFT™ series is our newest venture, its focus is audio on the go. Today, most people listen to audio through portable devices. But what about the quality of that audio? Despite what hundreds of earbud and headphone brands would have you believe, audio should sound every bit as good as it looks!

The Design of Our In-Ear Headphones

Paradigm's unique understanding of what makes a speaker sound magical in a listening room is applied to the design of our in-ear headphones. Unlike other brands, we used sophisticated measurement tools and proprietary algorithms while accounting for the psycho-acoustic effects of the ear structure in developing our design. This allowed us to faithfully reproduce the performance of Paradigm's freestanding loudspeakers in an in-ear headphone.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Sound

Pros: These ear buds sound surprising good, decent lows.

Cons: Out of the box, highs are okay, but sounded better after adding more treble.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat product for the money!

Pros: I bought these ear buds on Black Friday because I was tired of my skull candy ear buds. I was ready for a higher quality. I was not really expecting to much for these since I only paid $15. However, I was impressed. The range of sounds these can hit is wonderful. Most ear buds can high clear highs without a problem, but the lows struggle. And they were able to hit the lows with clarity. This is not the case for these, I was able to hear lows that my V-Moda M-80 struggle to hit without enough power. And the ear buds are not even done burning in. I

Lows: 5/5
Highs 5/5

Cons: The only thing I did not like about these ear buds is the cord. With the cord it is wrapped in a fabric removing much of the cable notice. However, I do not like how thin it is and how easy it tangles. I am a large guy with big hands and fingers I am a little worried I will break it. But that could just be me.

Other Thoughts: I would still recommend there ear buds to anybody wanting just a casual set to listen to. Are they DJ or production quality? No, they only cost $15 so I did not expect them to be that high. But I would say they can compete with my brothers $60 Klipsch ear buds.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Very good sound quality, good fit with three size buds to choose from. Cord has a cloth covering over the wires that make it tangle free and durable. So far I am happy with the ear buds. Like the pulg in being straight, so they lay proper on MP3 player as well as the laptop

Cons: Only draw backs that I have found so far is they are not marked as Left or Right ear. I went to an online stereo sound check site and found the right and left channel then placed the wite ear bud on the right side so I could remember what side to place it, (some times when you listen to music or movies you need the right and left channels in the correct ear for things to sound like they were intended. Draw back #2 I would like if there was a volume control in line.
