The Synergy Series C-10 center channel delivers high-performance quality at the lowest possible price point. This mind-bending performer reveals all the detail and dynamics necessary for a gripping home theater experience. This current generation Synergy center channel benefits from tens of years of Klipsch engineering experience and aesthetic upgrades that are representative of a new quality of craftsmanship.

The C-10 delivers subtle and thrilling performances by employing dual 4-inch magnetically shielded IMG woofers and a 0.75-inch aluminum-dome tweeter coupled to an exclusive square Tractrix Horn, which increases sensitivity and minimizes room interactions that blur sonic detail. Available in a black finish with titanium accents, the contemporary look of the C-10 is two-fold. With its grille on, the C-10 offers a sense of elegance that nicely blends in with your home décor, but take the grille off and you get an aggressive and powerful statement that exudes extreme performance.

The C-10 has the panache that allows listeners to hear everything from the faintest whisper to the loudest roar with complete clarity. It is also timbre-matched to the entire range of Synergy speakers.

  • newegg Exceptional Sound Quality The Klipsch Synergy C-10 Center Speaker boasts two 4" high output woofers, a 0.75” aluminum dome tweeter and Tractrix horn to deliver crisp highs and accurate lows for an immersive listening experience.
  • newegg Magnetically Shielded The magnetically-shielded Klipsch Synergy C-10 Center Speaker can be put at any proximity to display devices such as TVs and LCD monitors without loss of sound quality caused by interference.

5 out of 5 eggsKlipsch C10

Pros: Price @$99
Sensitivity
size

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I bought this to match my Klipsch KB15 front speakers (supplemented by a Dayton 12" sub) for my downstairs Yamaha AV receiver home theater setup This replaced a cheapie BIC center channel (which for $40 was not bad at all) I bought from BB. . With the Klipsch, movies are fantastic as the voices seem to come right at you...almost creepy. My music experience has been much better with this versus the BIC, center, but is still somewhat wanting. I thought I would get a better sound stage, but I think sound stage is actually better in the 2.1 setup. This could be a function of the AV receiver though, trying to make 5.1 sound out of a stereo recording. Other than that, sound is clean, not too bright/harsh, and can get loud without any complaints. The size is what really fits as it is probably one of the smaller "good" center channels out there. I bought (and returned) the Polk C20, because it too did not produce any improvement on the sound stage issue, and it was HUGE. Anyway, I liked how the C10 blended with the KB15s better...probably a sensitivity/timbre thing. I am very happy with my purchase.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Center Channel

Pros: Great sound for the price.

Cons: Too small to match with my new Klipsch F-20 front speakers. Music doesn't sound as good as it should

Other Thoughts: I bought this center channel to improve the quality of sound in dialog with my Energy Take 5.0 speakers and my Klipsch Synergy Sub-10. The audio produced was so good and crystal clear I decided to purchase the F-20's and S-10's to make a complete Klipsch 5.1 system. Unfortunately the F-20's over powered the C-10 a little too much. I returned it and ordered the C-20 to better match the complete system. For a 5.1 home theater setup, I'm pretty happy. However, music (jazz in particular) doesn't sound as good as it should. It still sounds better than my good sounding Energy Take speakers though. Movies, on the other hand, are great.

My first Klipsch speaker system was a GMX 2.1 system. I bought this system around 2002 while in college and still use them today. I listen to and transcribe a lot of tenor saxophone jazz solos on this system. I still think the GMX speakers sound better than my this Klipsch Synergy series. But to be fair, I haven't had time to break them in yet.
