Pros: Easy install. Works great.

Cons: I got no instructions, but if you really need instructions to install a card in your computer, perhaps you should have someone else do it for you.

Other Thoughts: Replaced two cheaper cards from a different manufacturer which both failed in well under a month. This one's been working fine for three months, so hopefully it will keep on working for a long time to come.

Pros: Popped it into my OpenSUSE 12.2 box, plugged in my USB 3.0 external hard drive, booted up the comp and everything was auto-detected and auto-mounted without so much as a hiccup. Sequential writes are at 103 MB/s, exactly what you would expect from a typical platter drive on a good connection.

Cons: Shipping took a while since it was coming from China, but the device itself works exactly as expected.

Pros: Don't know, couldn't install it.

Cons: The card is too tall to fit into my PCI slot, it doesn't have enough clearance. On top of that it took almost 2 weeks to receive because it was coming from overseas, so now I have to start the process of searching for viable replacement all over again.

Pros: Works at high speed ! Very easy installation with the CD included !

Cons: It will be even better if they include a floppy power to 4 pin power connector.

Cost more to RMA then its worth, so I just throw them away.

Very easy driver installation. Just click on the install button with the auto run software from the CD provided. It will detect the Windows version and started installation.
Very high transfer speed with my USB 3.0 2.5 " HDD enclosure installed with 240G SSD ( Up to 280MB/s)

Cons: I ordered 2 of these in separate orders for separate machines. Both of them act as if they are shorted. They both hold down my PCs power supplies and prevent the PC from booting.

It cost more to ship it back then they are worth - I threw them both away. Garbage.

Other Thoughts: I wish it wasn't so, I wanted to use these.

Pros: worked in W7 and Ubuntu 1204

Cons: required drivers for W7 (on supplied CD) which are easily lost

Other Thoughts: no drivers need be added to make it work in Linux!
