4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This card appears to work just fine.

Cons: They should not have shown a picture of the 20-Pin adapter cable in their product views. I assumed it was included since it was pictured. After receiving the card I had to order and to wait weeks for the cable to come from CHINA. And yes, on the picture was some very blurry text that said not included.

Other Thoughts: I would have ordered a different model that did include the cable, which would have cost slightly less money.

1 out of 5 eggsgreat price, horrible quality

Pros: Having the internal 20pin USB 3.0 adapter.

Cons: this card consistently fails to transfer anything over 2GB without timing out. floppy disk 4 pin power is required. my USB 2.0 ports right next to it transfer's 200GB worth of files with no interruption... this card is worthless... DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID.

Other Thoughts: this is what i get for buying for trying a "different" company, next time I will stick with known name brands.

5 out of 5 eggsJust what i needed!!!

Pros: Small, fast shipping and works perfectly!!!

Cons: Wish it came with a power cable. I used one that came with my power supply but it was short and i like to hide all my cable so i'm looking to buy a longer cable to be able to hide it.

Other Thoughts: Just what i needed to use with my NZXT Phantom 410 and ASUS M5A88 V EVO Motherboard.

4 out of 5 eggsRecommended, but with Caveat

Pros: Cheap, and unlike most USB3 add-in cards in its price-range and above, has a front-panel header, which adds versatility compared to those who simply have additional external or internal USB3 plugs. It is also tiny, allowing it to be placed below a graphics card without overly restricting air-flow

Cons: The caveat mentioned in the title is that the card requires power from a floppy-drive connector, either from your PSU or from a molex adaptor - if your PSU has one of these then then there is no problem (And in the card's defense, every PSU I have ever owned has had one); However if your PSU does not have one, the card does not come with an adapter, which means you will need to purchase one separately in order to power the card, an issue which is easily missed until the time you install it in your system.

Other Thoughts: Given the fact that the old floppy-drive power-connectors seem to be being phased out of modern PSUs, it would have been to SEDNA's credit to include an adapter in order to future-proof their product and save themselves from the large number of discontent customers, however at this price-point its absence does make sense.

1 out of 5 eggsNeeds seperate power

Pros: Just get power surge warning when I start up pc. Don't know Pros.

Cons: Does not come with power adapter ? Power surge warning from motherboard.

Other Thoughts: For the price of the card it should have come with a power adapter. Now, I have to order one. Very dissapointed in product.

1 out of 5 eggsBad product

Pros: None

Cons: Internal ports did not work. Getting error message stating that the power of the items plugged in exceed its capacity even when nothing is plugged in.

Other Thoughts: May not be possible to return the product.

2 out of 5 eggsLess than satisfied

Pros: It finally worked.
Cheap until you realize you may also need to buy a floppy disk power cable.
Slow delivery.

Cons: Driver disk was blank.
Requires floppy disk power cable (not included).
Too much work for two USB3 ports.

Other Thoughts: Everyone who has a floppy disk power cable raise your hand. When you open the box you first see a note warning your that a floppy disk power adapter is required to power the unit. I tried it without. Any USB device I tried to attach did not power up. Spent $7 to buy a Byzantine SATA/MOLEX/Floppy power adapter. The simpler alternative Molex to floppy adapter is $17. As others have stated, driver CD is blank, but was able to download drivers. Once it was powered and drivers loaded it worked. A lot of work and time spent for 2 USB3 ports. Newegg needs to do a better job of vetting these "First from Asia" products, and alert you if other products like a cable are necessary to make a device work.

1 out of 5 eggsComputer never even recognized it

Pros: None.

Cons: Installed it in my Windows 8 machine. Card was never even recognized in multiple slots.

Other Thoughts: Their driver software couldn't find it. I hadn't got a chance to install it until after the Newegg warranty was up and the manufacturer will not return or repair it. Newegg's chat support just told me to pay to have it repaired at a local shop. Really? For a part I paid $22 for? Very disappointed in Newegg right now.
