Operating System Software can be installed on mounted SSD and booting of the OS from the installed PCIE disk is supported ( Your mother board BIOS need to support this feature )
Different OS can be installed in different SSD, and choose to boot when system starts up ( change BIOS boot up setting )
( this adapter does not support RAID function of the 2 SSD )

Chipset: Asmedia 1061 - no uEFI support (driver from dates 2013) () - max bandwidth 380 MB/s - no RAID Other Thoughts:* tested with Samsung 850 EVO blackmagic speed test read: 368 MB/s write: 380 MB/s (*) If your UEFI motherboard doesn't have Compatibility Support Module (CSM) enabled (or Auto), your boot volume randomly disappears on a restart.
