The Cuisinart CPK-17 is an attractive and versatile electrical kettle that looks great on countertop or desktop. Perfect for tea brewing, this kettle comes with six preset temperatures for different varieties of tea, ensuring your tea is steeped at just the right temperature to reach its full flavor. This 1500-watt, 17-liter kettle heats up quickly. A Keep Warm function maintain the set temperature for 30 minutes, and a memory function allows you remove the kettle from the base and return it and continue the brewing process within 2 minute, great for mid-brewing serving. With the power cord attached to the base, you can lift the kettle for cordless refill and pouring. The backlit buttons and backlit water window allow error-free operation. Other features like stay-cool grip, removable scale filter, auto shutoff and boil dry protection round out this impressive offering.

Six Temperature SettingsThis model comes with six temperature settings for different varieties of teas, including 160 degrees F for delicate teas, 175 degrees F for green tea, 185 degrees F for white tea, 190 degrees F for oolong tea, 200 degrees F for French press coffee, and "Boil" for black tea.
Keep Warm ModeKeep Warm is the kettle’s default function that automatically maintains selected temperature for 30 minutes. If you have selected the Boil preset, your unit will hold a temperature just below boiling during the Keep Warm cycle. To bring water back to a rolling boil, press the Start button twice.
Memory featureThe kettle features an internal “memory” that lets you leave the kettle off the base for up to 2 minutes without it going into standby mode. When returned to the base, it will restart the heating and/or Keep Warm cycles right where they left off. NOTE: If kettle goes into standby mode before it’s returned to base, simply reselect your preset temperature and press Start to restart.

Stay-cool nonslip handle and drip-less spout make carrying and pouring a breeze. The concealed heating element helps prevent mineral buildup.
