5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Looks great, shot some footage on my Canon HV20 and took it home and put it into Final Cut on my new iMac and it looked amazing on my mac's 1080i HD screen. Exported it and played it on my Windows Media Center machine and it looked great on my Samsung HD TV.

Cons: The tape it's self is ugly. It is white and brown, very 80's.

Other Thoughts: Don't be fooled. MiniDVDs are horrible, they have to compress the data so it will fit on the DVD. When you do the math miniDV tapes hold about 13 gigs while miniDVDs hold about 3 gigs.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Tape for miniDV

Pros: Great quality picture when you transfer to Adobe premiere, edit then record on DVD. It looks really close to HD on the HD TV.

Cons: no cons so far.

Other Thoughts: I was using regular tape or premium for a while and they were ok. Since I have bought Sony HD miniDV tape for my JVC miniDV camcorder I will not buy different lower quality tapes. It is worth it.
