Pros: Best mirrorless camera. The one all your DSLR friends say to get if you MUST get a mirrorless.
There are a good amount of quality lenses available for the Micro 4/3s format, from Olympus and Panasonic alone. No one else has more.
This kit is a good deal for starters, the body alone is $1k, the 12-50mm lens is $400. Everything else is just gravy.

the 12-50mm lens is above average for a starter kit lens.
It has a fixed 45mm Macro mode and a focus lock button.

Cons: The accessories are kind of meh throw ins.
The memory card is class 4.
The two battery packs are 1500 mAh (better than the stock 1200). you WILL need extra batteries.
The monopod is decent, the tripod is a little cheap.

Other Thoughts: The only other camera to give the E-M5 a run for its money in this category is the Sony NEX7.
The big difference being available lenses.

Overall, decent starter kit for the price of just the camera + lens.

Sunset Electronics took a little longer than usual to process and ship everything, but the camera came as advertised.
