1 out of 5 eggsNot Worth It

Pros: Worked for a while
Cheap

Cons: Stopped working properly after about 3 months. I'd have to format it every few weeks to get my phone to see it again.

Other Thoughts: Not worth the hassle in my opinion. I wish I'd spent a little more and gotten a more reliable product with a lifetime warranty. I lost many pictures and videos due to this card not reading properly, and I treat my phone very well. I've never dropped it or forgotten to unmount the card before removing it from my computer. This card's simply not built well enough to last more than a few months.

5 out of 5 eggsAfter over 2 years, thing still works perfectly.

Pros: Fast transfer speeds (Class 10), Cheap card, works perfect in a cell phone or tablet device, reliability for me has been great, can't complain.

Cons: Reviews on reliability made me cautious of buying.

Other Thoughts: This card has been with me just shy of 3 years. It has never failed me, never erased my data, never gave me problems. The first thing I did when I got the card is did a full format to defaults and de-selected quick format. This, I have read, helps to prevent errors or failures later down the road. I love the transfer speeds on the card. The price is perfect. A+ The other reviews of failures made me cautious of buying it, but for the price, it was worth the risk and it came to be a great buy on my behalf.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Price @ time of purchase/ availability

Cons: Failed under 6 months

Other Thoughts: Used in the smart phone. On one occasion noticed that card was not reading. Remounted in android- no dice. Lost data ( like game save) but unpleasant to say at least. Shipping back and forth to get replacement would cost more than a a new car out right.... round file it goes.

4 out of 5 eggsmaybe it's the adapter

Pros: Cheap, class 10, decent size.

Cons: Loose adapter. Should come with a kingston adapter.

Other Thoughts: I was checking out this card as i have had for awhile but for whatever reason have not used. I was searching to get a idea if I should use in my newly acquired DSLR and saw the reviews here. So I plugged in into my NB and bam, it would not read. It acted like it was corrupted, or not fully seated. Funny, this card has never been used. Thought about it and started trouble-shooting the issue (it is what I do for a living). My findings are that the micro to full size adapter that comes with the microsd is problematic. This is not that uncommon.
Turns out the Wintec microsd card loves my Kingston adapter! And my kingston 2 gb card seems to works in the wintec adapter.
The thing I noticed is that the wintec microsd card feels loose in the wintec adapter. It feels tight in my kingston adapter. The kingston microsd card feels a little tighter in the wintec adapter than the wintec microsd card did but not real tight.
So if you have an extra adapter laying around, try the wintec card with

1 out of 5 eggssucks...

Pros: good speed, decent amount of storage

Cons: spontaneously won't work.

Other Thoughts: I bought to for my motorola defy and it works sometimes but without warning, the phone can't write to the card and so at times when I'm taking pictures, they won't be stored and you won't know until you go into your gallery and look for the photos that was never written to the card. To fix it, I had to take the card out, then reinsert it into the phone, reboot the phone and it'll work for awhile but will always spontaneously fail.

2 out of 5 eggsFailed after 8 months

Pros: While it worked, it was fine. 16GB, Class 10, at a cheap price.

Cons: It failed after 8 months. I started noticing pausing and skipping when playing music of the card. I couldn't figure it out. It drove me absolutely nuts. Finally I replaced the SD card, and the skipping and pausing disappeared.

Also, at the same time, I got an error from my phone stating that the card was damaged. I had to do chkdsk to save my data.

1 out of 5 eggsFAILED. Lost everything.

Pros: The card did plug in.

Cons: Everything. This was the worst purchase ever. Unreliable.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy this. I had this card for just over a month before the data was corrupted. I formatted the card and everything seemed OK -- until my new pictures are corrupted again.
