N/A 5/17/2013 1:39:02 AM Tech Level: 4/5 Ownership: 2/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 4/5Actually good tab if... Pros: Nice screen - bright, crisp, responsive. CPU actually running at 1.5GHz :-) Lightweight and fairly sturdy construction. For the price, overall solid tablet hardware wise. Telephone tech support (after digging for a #), was quick and courteous. Cons: Everything worked fine out of the box, however after updating some Google apps I kept getting continuously repeating errors about Google play services stopping. It didn't seem to actually hinder anything, but interaction with the Play store got really wonky and the error windows kept popping up even if I manually killed the apps and services. As mentioned as a "Pro," tech support was responsive, but unable to solve the issue. I was directed to the website where fairly straightforward instructions on how to reflash the image and after multiple attempts at complete restores, the same issue repeated itself each time. Other Thoughts: Negative reviews notwithstanding, this is a pretty solid tablet. I gave in to my techie side and ended up rooting it... this solved the above issue and got me MUCH better performance... ...(just saying ;) Did you find this review helpful? Cons: internal speaker and microphone facing opposite from screen which means the sound was directed away from you. this also means that the microphone was picking up sounds bouncing back. And because the sound was going away from viewer, made it almost impossible to hear.. yes headsets worked great.. but that defeated the purpose of using it with out wires.. Tablet touch screen stopped working 1 week into using it. the device would boot but could not unlock because the touch screen was inop. tech support was less than adequate and we had to "read between the lines" to figure out how to reset it by FW reload. Yes this unit had latest firmware and tech support only would say reinstall firmware to get the screen to unlock to fix the tablet touch screen... well after finally getting it to update firmware and after reboot, the screen still doesn't recognize touch.. however the OS is back to factory defaults... internet search will result in more people dissatisifed and issues with touch screen.
