2 out of 5 eggsDoesn't support shielded cable

Pros: Available, and works for most applications

Cons: Does not support shielded Ethernet cable (STP). If you install this product, you break the drain path for your shielded cable.

Other Thoughts: Pretty near-sighted by APC to market this type of product and not support shielded cable. I don't like to go somewhere else, but this product falls short of my requirements.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Picked up two of these running 1gbit over short runs of <50ft. So far zero errors reported for interface stats on either system.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Documentation mentions ethernet isolated from ground. APC site and documentation included with box says break voltage is 60v not 330v?

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Works Is Awesome, I have used the 10/100 Model for more than 8 years this is a very good Surge Protector And The Cable Length is in Inches not feet.. Normally you connect it to the Computer Chassis or the the Rack (Grounded)

Cons: None

4 out of 5 eggsGood product but description is incorrect

Pros: Excellent surge protection between networked gear and cameras mounted outside (susceptible to lightning strikes).

Cons: Is definitely not a 5.91 ft ground as pictured and listed in the description. It is only a few inches.

Other Thoughts: I would normally give the product a 5 star rating, but in this instance I really needed more than a 6 inch ground wire. Hopefully Newegg will fix this.
