3 out of 5 eggsDecwnt

Pros: -nice headset
-good sound quality

Cons: I've had this headset since December and since then one of the sliders fell out and the right speaker fell out, sadly. other than that it's an amazing product, like most of Logitechs products

4 out of 5 eggsConfused about the warranty

Pros: It's a great headset with great sound for the price.

Cons: The band on the headset has broken and their warranty page is confusing.

Other Thoughts: I loved this headset so I hate to see it break. I want to try to get it fixed or replaced but Logitech's website is hard to understand in the warranty section.

3 out of 5 eggsOK headset but HORRIBLE Mic

Pros: - Good sound quality
- Nice design and looks

Cons: - The mic is horrible! It barely picks up any noise and people have a hard time hearing what I say. In order to "alleviate" the problem I had to increase the microphone boost by 36dB, which is the max I could increase it by, but increasing the boost also increases the amount of static noise. So great, now people can at least hear what I say (although still not enough) but with a bunch of static mixed in! 0/10 mic

- The material used for the ear pads feels harsh and is uncomfortable

Other Thoughts: I would have preferred volume controls on the headset, like the G930, instead of the in-line control. But for the price, you can't expect too much.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat Headphone, Horrible Mic

Pros: Great ear cups great speakers nice bass. Comfortable and nice long braided cable.

Cons: The mic is really bad hardly picks up with out having to boost it more than you should. Then it picks up the audio from the headphones, how that is possible I don't know. I guess the sound is traveling through the plastic somehow and being picked up internally through the mic.

Other Thoughts: This headset is great for the headphones but horrible for the mic. I replaced it with a Turtle Beach PX22 MLG series.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Great sound quality, and durable.

I've been on about a dozen flights with these in my carry-on and have had em fall and get tangled and smushed and whatever and they are still fine. The cable doesn't tangle and the mute and volume buttons work fine. I've been told the microphone quality is good also.

Remember to use Razer Surround or a games headphone settings for virtual surround sound in games and movies.

Cons: The top cushion on the headband is a little stiff at first, took me a few sessions to break it in. Now it feels like it's not even there.

Other Thoughts: Good headset, better then Afterglow and Madcatz headsets I've owned by a large margin.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Comfortable, even through extended use. Sound quality leaves nothing lacking, in both low range and high. There is enough cord to handle getting up to get something off the book shelf without worry of over extending, which I find most convenient. Microphone had good quality until I almost ripped the cord out of the headset, now it skips. But i should be able to repair it at some point.

Cons: I think one of the ear phones is not as loud as the other, but this could be a result of long days working with industrial machinery. Which is why still mention good sound quality in the pros.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far so good

Pros: Initial testing shows very good sound quality, and the mic works very well.

Cons: So far, none.

Other Thoughts: It would be nice if it came with an adapter or two for different connection options, but i can get those later.

3 out of 5 eggsOk Headset

Pros: G230 looks sharp, decent sound, and long cord length are all pluses.

Cons: Headset is a bit on the tight side, to remedy place the headset on your PC tower like you would on your head, after a while it'll loosen up and not pinch as bad.
Be VERY careful with the cord, it is very easy to get caught or tripped on because of its length. Also the cord is non-replaceable, making the G230 a paperweight when it goes out (as it happened in my case).

Other Thoughts: I am very hesitant to purchase again because of the lack of repairabilty and delicate nature. Bottom line if you are very careful with it, it is a decent headset when on sale. If accidents with the headset are your concern, get something cheaper/more resilient.

4 out of 5 eggsKnow what to expect

Pros: Good looking, light, pretty comfortable, decent sound.

Cons: These won't blow your mind with accuracy or stunning sound reproduction. Another reviewer commented that they are speakers for your head and that's exactly what they are. That is exactly what I wanted, so it all worked out. Knocked a star off because I will admit, they pinch a little on top after a few hours.
