2 out of 5 eggsSave your money and buy something better

Pros: They deliver sound, I guess.

They fold up to be pretty small for compact storage. All the better to stuff them away in a drawer to never use them again.

Cons: Very uncomfortable. I have small ears and these still didn't sit comfortably on them

Weak sound. I've bought other headphones for the same price that sounded much better (and louder).

Other Thoughts: I bought these because I was in a pinch. I had metered my expectations because these were cheap, yet I still came out disappointed. Just save up more money and buy something worthwhile.

2 out of 5 eggsVery uncomfortable

Pros: They produce sound. That is about all they have going for them.
They haven't broken yet even after almost a year (mostly because I stopped using them).

Cons: These headphones are *extremely* uncomfortable! They don't fit around the ear despite being called "circumaural". I don't have large ears and even mine don't fit. The cushioning is stiff and does little to actually cushion the ears.

The sound is poor at best. Bass is practically non-existent. The set isn't very loud even at the loudest volume.

The ear pieces do not swivel forward or backward at all, meaning they won't sit flush on your ears. The cups are very shallow which results in your ears being pressed up against the hard plastic interior. Mine are always red and sore after an hour or so.

This was a cheap headset so I probably shouldn't have expected much, but I certainly expected better than this. It is easily the most disappointing/worst headset I've ever owned. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, even for a cheap price (I paid thirty dollars and feel swindled). There must be better options at the same price point. In fact, if you don't need a microphone I would suggest you just spend the same amount on a pair of earbuds that would be far more comfortable and sound much better. Or you could just spring for something a little more expensive and of higher quality. Whatever you end up doing, just *don't buy this headset* because you will be regretful and disappointed, I know I am.

5 out of 5 eggsWell Made

Pros: Sound is good, MUCH better than previous headset. Mic picks up voice perfectly, in-line mic mute and volume control are perfect and analog (you don't have to worry about a button stopping working), keep other sounds out. Well built and compact.

Cons: Mic can be hard to pull out of its slot in earphone, but not worth docking an egg.

4 out of 5 eggsGood bang for buck

Pros: - Lightweight
- Portable (folding ear pieces a definite plus)
- Fair amount of bass
- Retractable AND flexible mic
- Not too expensive

Cons: Build quality. However, compared to the headsets I've used in the past, this is the only headset that hasn't been broken to the point of having dangling parts. The only blemish I have on this headset so far after months of using it it a crack right down the middle of the top brace (where the headset hinges when folding it up). If I could give this 4.5 eggs I would.

Also, another minor thing is that although I don't have a huge head, I've already pulled the earpieces out to max length (which barely reach my earlobes). If your head can't accommodate the over-the-head placement, then you'll probably be wearing these more like a behind-the-ear (that's where the flexible mic can come into play).

Lastly, depending on the audio ports you're putting these in (as well as the quality of the audio sources), mic quality can range from walkie-talkie to clear as day (this is from experience playing with friends online in Steam games).

Other Thoughts: I would definitely recommend this headset to anybody looking for something inexpensive but has decent durability and audio quality. I would say this is on par with headsets that cost 2-3 times more.

5 out of 5 eggsReally nice headset.

Pros: Nice sound. Cancels noise nicely.

Didn't know it also had a microphone until I obtained it lol.

Cons: Hurts my ears a bit, but that's probably just my head.

3 out of 5 eggsSteelSeries

Pros: Sounds great, retractable mic is awesome, ear pieces are soft, folds together to save space.

Cons: They do make my ears a little soar after a few hours, but that just tells me its time to do some physical activity. If you don't want someone to hear what you are listening to I don't suggest using these headphones.

Other Thoughts: Not bad for the price. I am satisfied so far.
