2 out of 5 eggsOk IR Camera

Pros: It sees ok at night but I don't think it really can see out 10 meters, maybe 5 meters.

Cons: It's a IR night camera, it does NOT switch out of night IR mode in the day time. This means it doesn't see normal color during the day if you have it viewing outdoors. trees and grass type stuff is gray in color. The camera menu doesn't give you an option for enabling or disabling the IR mode.

Other Thoughts: Not really worth the price considering the stuck IR mode and short vision with the LEDs.
It has worked for over two years but... other cameras were cheaper and you can control IR mode.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent Value

Pros: Works with Zoneminder, android apps; Easily controlled from the camera's web interface, zoneminder, and android app (IPCamView) with some configuration. Like the ability to use 2 way audio. Bought this to make it into a baby monitor, working well, might buy more to monitor the house as a whole.

Cons: Audio does have a lot of background noise, unable to disable blinking green light on bottom of camera. Short power cord not suited to installations away from a power outlet without extension.

Other Thoughts: Good for the value, works well for a clone of a more expensive product. A+

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: Less than $50 (at the time of purchase)
Fast ship from TOPTOM.

Works with BlueIris

Cons: Only Pan/Tilt. Must rely on software for zoom... and who wants to zoom in on a 640x480 image?!

Only 640x480...

Other Thoughts: For the price of two.. one can find, or almost find, an 1MegaPixel IP Camera. That is worth software zoom!

Got these as gifts for my sisters. Set them up on their wireless network, put it in the rooms with their kid(s) and set up IPCam Viewer via the PlayStore and away I went.

Almost a year later they are still using it! They love being able to pull up the kiddo up their tablets or smartphones!

5 out of 5 eggsexactly as ordered

Pros: Item was in brand-new condition, worked right out of the box (after setup with included software), not DOA like other reviewers have mentioned for this seller.

Cons: Setup isn't geared towards average low-experience user, a little bit of knowledge of networking is needed in order to take advantage of the camera's full capabilities (port forwarding, dynamic DNS, ftp hosting, mail hosting, etc). Software should be tailored a little to the hardware (has an on-off option that only turns off the IR lights on some models, not the one I bought, so it does nothing for me).

Other Thoughts: Had to google for answers more than I anticipated. The good thing is that there are people out there with the same kind of camera I bought with the same questions, so I eventually got all my answers.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Camera

Pros: Nice 640x480 camera with pan and tilt. And only $48 delivered. I have purchased about 9 of these now...Picture is good and night vision is good to. The software and remote access are well put together and better than most cheap cameras software. I have used the remote access very easily using there interface, but i currently use this camera with blueiris software which it works perfectly with. Also has a nice setting to return the camera to your chosen preset position if it does have a network reset. Havent seen that in alot of the others interfaces.

Cons: NONE

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Camera for the price

Pros: takes 4-6 snapshots and emails them to me, or uploads to FTP server. also if I have the webpage open, it records a video automatically and stores it on my computer. it pans and tilts great. 2 way sound works well too, little lag but ok. they work well on WiFi G band. it has more features than i need.

Cons: no to many for the price. 640X480 res is max. no zoom. the power cord to the wall wart is short. around 40" or so.

Other Thoughts: for around $55 this is a no brainer. you can run up to 4 cameras on one webpage. i got 4 scattered around my house. they are great.

5 out of 5 eggsTremendous capabiltiy for the price!

Pros: Does everything it says! The scheduled motion detection alarm can signal a burglar alarm, send alarm el\mails with five photos attached, day/night vision (color in daylight, B&W Infrared at Night). Excellent built-in automatic IR illumination in darkness. Accessible from any smartphone using its browser, audio only works with IE via a downloaded ActiveX app. Can interface with burglar alarm to signal motion detect, as well as tie a Pan/Tilt preset position to an alarm (can monitor a door). Excellent system! I bought two of 'em and am very pleased!

Cons: None so far! I do wish the night time IR Illuminator was software settable, it is fully automatic with no over ride.

3 out of 5 eggsBang for your buck

Pros: Pan/Tilt covers a lot of horizontal and vertical view. Alarm system is great as well. This would be a lot better if I setup a FTP server to upload video clips on alarm. Great option to e-mail pics on alarm as well. Sometimes it can be glitchy and send random pics of nothing even on low sensitivity for movement detection. Great quality picture even for night vision.

Cons: Had a rough time trying to set this up at first not realizing that the software was not compatible with windows 7. I'm not sure about vista, but I ran a virtual machine running windows XP and was able to set everything up with a breeze. Setup software is cheap and have yet to get the WiFi setup correctly.

Other Thoughts: Manufacturer support is awful by the way.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome for the price!

Pros: Presets, talk/listen feature, video quality and pretty easy to setup and for the money to have a Pan and Tilt camera.

Cons: When you enable the wireless give it up to one minute to come back after reset. Timer shows 30 seconds. Interfered with my remote garage door opener, had to move.

Other Thoughts: Would actually be good at your door to see who's there and be able to talk to them without opening the door. For the price a great value.
