Pros: Low cost... on sale for about twenty US. Light weight, white color and design looks like an Apple product. Can be used without plugging into the wall.

Cons: Came with a poorly soldered board, so didn't work when plugged in. I decided to fix it rather than pay to return it...mostly just to see how hard it would be to fix, so here's how: First I had to see if I thought it was fixable. I plugged in the 12 volt wall adapter and wiggled the plug at the lamp end and saw the light come on at the touch switch so I figured it was a cold solder joint at the plug female. The foam rubber base was not easy to scrape off, and made a small mess. With the foam rubber base scraped off, I had access to the the two screws to remove the base. I took it apart and sweated the connections where the plug socket goes into the circuit board. That fixed it. I put it back together and cut a piece of leather for a new base. I used some contact cement and a heat gun to attach the leather for a new, improved base. Took me about an hour with gathering my tools and all that, which is about what it would take to get an RA number, box it up and go to the post office, plus six or eight bucks postage so I figure I won on the deal. A smarter man would have cut his losses and tossed it in the trash in ten seconds, but I'm curious about things so I doubled down. Now it works fine, but it isn't all that bright at full power and is slightly brighter when pulgged in than when under battery power. The color is toward blue and not warm at all, but I don't have a color meter handy so I can't be more specific. I haven't figured out a good place to use it yet, but I think it will be handy when I find a good use for the flexibile stalk and low power. It may be excellent as a car reading lamp with a red plastic filter wrapped around it with some rubber bands.

Other Thoughts: I would suggest this to someone with good fix-it skills, solder and spare time.
I wouldn't do it again, though I was able to get it to work. I would guess only one in ten is bad like mine was, chances are good you will be lucky and get one that works. Good luck.

Pros: Very bright at highest of three settings. Battery operation is perfect for mobility. Puts my other $30 LED lamps to shame!

Pros: I was a bit disappointed to not receive exactly what I ordered. They contacted me to let me know it was out of stock and asked if I'd take a substitute. I was hesitant, but said yes. I received the lamp and I'm very pleased with it so far. It is a really nice lamp that looks sleek and clean and modern. I'm glad I accepted the substitute. They have followed up with me and seem to offer great service!

Cons: No cons other than it being out of stock and getting a better lamp at the same price!

This lamp is absolutely the best. I am amazed at the quality of the entire unit. The feel and functionality of the flexible neck is extremely sexy.
The glow of the lamp is very warm, and bright. I am without words....

Pros: Nice clean lines. Would look good in any modern office.

Cons: Didn't work. DOA.

Pros: Nice bright and clean light. Flexible post with internal battery makes it useful for things away from your desk. 3 brightness levels are good.

Cons: Base can be a little unstable depending on the orientation.

Other Thoughts: Was exactly what I was looking for. Use it at my computer desk as well as occasionally as a task light on smaller projects in the shop. Solid overall.
