Pros: Adjustable brightness is nice. Can take it up high enough to light up the room, and alternately low enough that you can't tell it's on until your eyes adjust, which gives perfect light for navigation. You can set this lamp at nearly any angle, as well. Looks modern, and when you fold it closed it takes up very little space. White to "coffee" options for the shade of the light are pleasant. I can affirm that the light from this unit is indeed pleasantly diffused by the lenses that it was built with; it's a very good ambience light.

Cons: -The power connector plugs in on the left side, about an inch above the keypad. Ruins the sleek look somewhat, and hinders the rotational motion of the lamp, since you're dragging the cable around as you turn it.
-You can't just turn the lamp, you have to carefully brace it and turn it gently. Not the sturdiest plastic.
-The power button in the center of the keypad glows with a fairly harsh red LED when the lamp is off, which nearly ruins the calm feeling brought on by the pleasant light of the lamp. I found a fix in a very small piece of electrical tape. Emphasis on "very" because...
-The buttons are not very easy to press, and seem to require a perfect, slow tap to get a response. My electrical tape fix of the glaring red LED was problematic since the light is dead-center of the power button, but it works now. YMMV.

Pros: very easy to use control panel
very fashionable and elegant look and design

Other Thoughts: wish there was more lighting modes

Pros: -very modern fashionable design
-nice gloss finish except for the stand (just the way I liked it)
-easy to use interface
-very convenient usb port

Cons: -max brightness is still not bright enough
-the color only changes from orange to white

Other Thoughts: my cousin has bought a similar one for $50 and it has more colors compares to this
