Technical Details
- It can reduce glare, mirror-like effects and reflections to a minimum.
- The gray side cuts down on overall brightness without distorting colors. The darker shade is intended primarily to cut through the glare and reduce eyestrain in moderate-to-bright conditions like driving under sunlight.

Both visor panes on the clip-on visor were covered in protective plastic on both sides. The adjustable mounting clip appears to work well with gripping the sun visor. The visor panes themselves appeared to be strong plastic with decent thickness. It came with a small microfiber cloth. The visor mount is probably flexible enough to mount over a visor CD case or other flat object. Cons: I was disappointed that there was only a single flip visor at the price point I paid. I was expecting a matching pair. The flipping mechanism appears to be a simple plastic gear built into the rotating shaft. That will probably break, wear out, or otherwise become unusable after a while. The visor mount is not flexible enough to wrap around any additional objects of any thickness on the visor, such as a vanity mirror. Flipping the panes does not have a secure enough stop, so bumps and sudden motions can change the position of the panes, which can expose the driver to glare at unexpected moments. Other Thoughts: I would have hoped for a matching pair at this price (~$10) I wish the mounting clip was a little more flexible to fit over my built-in vanity mirror on my visor. To mount it, I had to offset the flip-visor to one side or the other on the regular visor. There, it either knocked against the safety cage strut and could not be flipped fully, or else it would interfere with the center rear-view mirror. The flipping mechanism probably needs a metal covering to reduce the effects of wear over time, so it lasts long. With metal, the flipper might also be stiffer, resisting the effects of movement and vibration, in order to keep the visor planes in their needed positions. Did you find this review helpful?
