Pros: It works when connected to my Droid Razr running Torque Pro and gives more diagnostic and performance readings than a more costly stand-alone OBD-II unit would. It's not perfect, but it's a good enough value that I can easily recommend it for those looking to use it as I have on their personal vehicle(s).

Cons: I don't know if the unit, the app, or the phone is at fault but the Bluetooth fails to automatically connect when the vehicle is started and app is initiated (I surmise it is the former as other BT devices haven't had the same issue). This isn't a big problem for me (and I haven't tried hard to remedy it) as I utilize the device mostly as a diagnostic tool rather than supplementary gauge package, just keep this in mind if you decide to use it for performance monitoring on the fly. It is also a little larger than I expected, but again this isn't a big problem for me (it remains hidden fairly well and hasn't fallen off/lost connection after being plugged into the vehicle since it arrived about a month or so back). If you are a professional working in the automotive repair industry this product is probably not for you.

Other Thoughts: In short I find it to be a good value for the vehicle I purchased it for. Makes running diagnostic test quick, easy, and convenient and gives me additional features that a moderately priced stand-alone unit wouldn't. I'm happy with it and would recommend it to anyone that wants to use it with their smart-phone, tablet, or laptop (haven't tried the latter options). Note that I haven't yet attempted to connect it to any other vehicle (2003 Chevrolet S-10 Xtreme 4.3L V6, 4spd. Auto), so I am unable to verify its usefulness in other applications. Additionally, do not expect this device to give you precision readouts like a $3k Mac-tools OBD-II computer, but expect it to perform as well or [in my experience] exceed the performance of a OBD-II reader that you can purchase for sub-$250 (like those sold and used by most automotive parts chains). I would also highly recommend pairing this with Torque Pro as I did as it has been a very useful and simple to set up/operate application for the average end-user.

Pros: Works out of the box with the Torque Pro Android app as well as all the others I played with... which if you buy this I'd highly encourage getting Torque ($5) as well.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Seller sent me the wrong item, but owned up to it with no fuss. I ended up buying the item from them instead of shipping it back because it was pretty cool.

Pros: Got it working and connected to my Samsung Note II. Found two items not ok in my truck.

Cons: have to go hunt the web for the decoder ring when codes appear.

Other Thoughts: for what I paid $19, it was well worth it then taking my car to the dealer. Nice to see "real time" data from the ECU.

Pros: It work on the phone just fine. The Android app seems to function and connect perfectly.

Because its not totality useless ill give it a 3 out of 5.

Cons: On the laptop, the connection on Com's is tricky because the software that comes with it will only read Com's 1 to 10 and wont auto detect. The newer version will read the higher connection com's but wont auto detect. After playing with it, I notice it validates the OBD scanner and says its a clone which it will not support.

Pros: Works (with Ford and VW), Works with TORQUE pro.

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: Easy to pair Bluetooth (6789 pair code).

Pros: I have to agree with the above OP. I think this is one of the coolest things I've ever had. I've a brand new Hemi Challenger and with this and my phone, its like my car can talk sexier to me than my Wife! For $15 you can't beat this

Cons: Kinda sorta feels a little cheaply built, but so far is OK. I can see some things coming loose with it after several attachments to vehicles but oh well, it was only $15.

Other Thoughts: I have the paid ver. of Torque with from the Android market and theres just about nothing your car won't tell you. Simply set some options to tell it what car you have and it makes one heck of a diag system. I've seen $1000+ diag tools that almost can't beat this system when paired up.

Pros: Super easy to use once you get it set up. Coolest tech gadget I have bought in a long time. Now if it would only fix my car in stead of just telling me what is wrong

Cons: Still have to look up those stupid codes. Doesn't have very clear directions on how to use the bluetooth part, but it is actually pretty easy once you get it paired with your device.
