Pros: Good color match to MacBookPros

Cons: - Cheap plastic
- Bad fit
- Almost impossible to open with out scratching or damaging tabs (compared to new out of box condition)

If you need to use this this type of product, go and look for something better. This is CHEAP plastic junk that will 50/50 work or not. My cds are getting stuck on eject, as drive it self is too low for opening. I had to place paper raiser to lift drive little to get media out. This is after several tryouts, each needing to pry cover off.

Pros: The SuperDrive fits perfectly. My SuperDrive is from a late 2011 MacBook (macbook 8,2).

Cons: I placed the dvd drive in the enclosure and plugged it into my laptop. But my computer would not detect the drive. I took the drive apart and upon closer exception I discovered that the green wire from the USB wire broke from the logic board. I removed the logic board to take a closer look and and the white wire also broke.

Other Thoughts: I tried to solder the wires back but that didn't work. Guess I'm going to have to find a solder with a smaller tip.

Pros: It works fine.

Cons: To use with 9.5mm you have to trim some pegs.

Pros: They went to great lengths to resolve the issue. A refund was issued without delay.

Cons: Cheap Plastic. Won't work with the cover on. Top distorts and blocks the slot.

Pros: Works. Easy to assemble. No tools required.

Cons: Flimsy cover distorts when you press in the metal bottom plate. This makes it very difficult, if not impossible, for the DVD drive to eject a DVD. Was able to overcome with considerable fiddling. If I didn't already own this, I would try another similar device w sturdier components.
