FUJILABS S1 bike LED flashlight is using CREE XP-E R3 LED. The lamp cap can rotate left and right to adjust the light mode and focus-diffusion. The convex lens creates a smooth, powerful beam for perfect illumination and irradiation distance up to 200 meters. Flashlight is composed of aluminum, and a tail cap button has 3 segments of the electronic switch (100%, 50%, flashing). It contains rubber O-rings, which allow this flashlight to be sealed against moisture. Ideal for mountain climbing, biking, camping, hiking and other outdoor sports. Powered by three AAA batteries (included).

4 out of 5 eggsNice Dual Purpose

Pros: Bright and focus adjustable dual purpose flashlight. Bike mount is good but maybe not for trail use although the light is bright enough for such tasks. I cannot comment much on battery life (minimal use 5 months) but it seems reasonable.

Cons: My only gripe is the battery cage, they are never a good idea, ;however this design seems to work better than any I've seen.

Other Thoughts: Get this for some guy or gal with a bike and you'll see them coming! This is brighter than several more expensive lights I own.

5 out of 5 eggsOpens the headlamp floodgates!

Pros: LED, truly 300 lumens, solid construction, installed this on my bike in less than 5 minutes, lucked out and got it for $23.99 but well worth the everyday price-tag! Very bright but also has less bright settings or blinks if needed,

Cons: More colors would be nice but not that big of a deal.

Other Thoughts: Before this I used an Blackburn Voyager 4.0 which I bought at a bike shop in Indy on sale for about $50 5 years ago. I loved it but I love this one way more! I realize this isn't considered popular amoung the pro bicycle crowd but those guys usually spend $300-$500 for a headlamp!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Light

Pros: This light is compact, well made, very bright and powerful. The quality seems high. It fits into the door pocket of my vehicle.

Cons: Will roll away if on uneven surface. It should have some "flats" like a hex nut to facilitate placement.

Other Thoughts: There is a water tower 1 1/2 blocks away from my parking spot and I can light it up from there. Amazing!

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome flashlight. Best I've used.

Pros: I bought the bike version because it was on sale.

What's different about this light? The size of the beam is adjustable from very narrow to very wide. 3"- 4' diameter from 4' above the ground and VERY bight and very evenly lit. I've never seen anything like it. Throws a bright 15' diameter circle from 20' away. It lights up a Porta-Potty from 150' away. Porta-Potty? Yeah. They're doing construction at the end of our block.

There is a small o-ring that seals the back of the battery compartment and the front lens seems well sealed to the body so I expect that it will work well in the rain.

Has two brightness levels to conserve battery life. Battery life is unknown. Even if it eats batteries I'm fine with that. I'll just pop in another trio of Enloop AAA rechargables and keep on trucking. That may be the price for a light like this.

It's the best flashlight I've ever used..

Cons: Has a strobe feature that I won't use. If I used it on a bike like it was intended it would have made sense. Don't like the switch at the end of the barrel. A switch where your hand falls on the barrel makes more sense to me. But again this is a bike light.

Other Thoughts: Would have liked it to come with a spare battery carrier. Will have to find a way to carry it because I bought the bike version which didn't come with a belt clip or belt pouch.

5 out of 5 eggsFujiLabs S1 300 Lumen bicycle light

Pros: Good light. Can be focused wide or narrow. Took it for a test ride against rechargeable brand name 250 lumen light, and the FujiLabs wins both in brightness and focusability which my other lights lack. Lightweight and easy to have with you in case you're out after nightfall.

Cons: Mechanism for attaching the light to the bike is not as hearty as I'd like, and definitely inferior to the bombproof (but > $100rechargeable light). Looking into the lights (from a drivers point of view), the bluer light of the rechargeable is more noticeable.

Other Thoughts: Great light for the price. I recommend it to anyone doing occasional evening ridesl. For commuters, spend more money and get a rechargeable light with even more lumens and with a bombproof attachments for both your helmet and handlebars. However, this is a great "backup" light, and a great light for occasional evening rides on roads or trails.

1 out of 5 eggsworked great ... for month

Pros: Nice metal case. Compact. Not heavy.

Cons: Product failed just after 30 day window. Will not turn off. Light remains on at 10-20%. Drains battery. Showstopper. Will see if they back their product.

5 out of 5 eggs300 lumens - using AAA batteries

Pros: High luminescence, compact, using 3 AAA batteries and not some specialized. Used it sporadically on travel to Latin America where power grid is not stable. Pointed at the ceilling to illuminate room enough to play cards. Friend compared the beam of light in the night to the Star Wars light-swords.

Cons: None at this point. I've read a review about plastic lens that could get easily scratched but it didn't happen to me yet.

Other Thoughts: Worth money, many of my friends were fascinated by it and declared will to buy it too.
