5 out of 5 eggsGreat Headset

Pros: -Sound Quality is on par with most of the $100+ headsets
-Mic sounds great...
-Driver software is awesome. I'm constantly playing with it to get the best sound possible for everything I do.
-Lightweight, these things are so light I was lifting them higher than I wanted to every time I pick them up for the first few days. The pair I replaced them with were pretty heavy...
-They look awesome
-Detachable mic

Cons: No noise cancelation for the mic.
I had to turn down the volume for 30-64 Hz because you get a nasty crackle from 40-90 Hz. I tried everything and the only thing that worked was turning down the output for low frequencies in the EQ to -12. You'll notice the difference in the bass, but it still hits pretty hard and still sounds really good and the crackle/ticking is gone.

Other Thoughts: For the price you won't find a better sounding headset. Even with the lower frequencies turned down in the EQ the bass still sounds better than most headsets in this price range. I just wish I could enjoy the bass on max w/o the crackle... If you're gaming you probably won't ever hear it, but with certain music you can definitely hear it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product, Great Price

Pros: - In-line mic switch and volume
-Very light and comfortable
-Single cord for mobile device/tab without extra cords hanging off of it
-USB adapter
-Detachable Mic
-Sounds great

Cons: A little snug for my head, but I'm sure it's because I'm used to the Astro wireless A40s that I primarily use. Not really a con They are perfect for my son though.

Other Thoughts: For the price, these are great! I bought these because I liked the setup with the single cable for mobile devices and the simple USB adapter for the PC. It's effortless to switch between the two. I tried these in my Sound Blaster Z card with the Y splitter (not included, but I already had one), and it sounds great. It's not fair to compare these to the A40s, but I will say, I don't mind using these so my son and I can play together. I wasn't ready to pay $300 for my son to have a headset, so I thought I would give these a try. I am in no way disappointed. I have owned a lot of headsets over the years and I usually feel like I just bought another product that does the same thing. True, this is another headset, but to get something built with quality that is so clean looking AND for such a good price, I feel GREAT about this purchase. The software is also clean, and scout mode is an awesome option. I'll be buying another one of these for my daughter.

4 out of 5 eggsGet what you pay for, good for large ears, bad for small ones.

Pros: Great sound quality.
Great mic, and it's detachable.
Cheap
Great if you have bigger ears.

Cons: Ear cushions aren't very substantial, so small ears will end up not having enough cushion - pain.

Other Thoughts: Find it on sale somewhere.

4 out of 5 eggsPleasantly surprised.

Pros: + Good cord length.
+ Good sound quality for the price. (Bass too)
+ Detachable Mic.

Cons: - A bit small for my head/ears. (Perfect for my lady though.)
- Feel flimsy.

Other Thoughts: I bought these for my special lady and she likes them a lot. They are too small to fit comfortably on my head/ears so I'm sticking with my Gamescom headset.

She hasn't used the mic yet so can't speak to its quality.

5 out of 5 eggsGood enough

Pros: +Great sound for this price range.
+Foamy cup pads are comfortable on your ears and promote extended wear.
+Removable microphone.
+Default audio jack (3.5mm) for just headphones enable use on virtually any device, whereas a USB converter allows use of the microphone on your PC.
+Microphone on/off switch on the cord, as well as volume dial.
+Great color scheme that matches my red/black PC build.
+Has software (that you must download from Creative) to tweak microphone and earphone settings for clarity, equalizer and voice change options.

Cons: -Cups could be a little bigger so they don't rest on your ears, but over, instead. Not worth taking an egg off; maybe I just have big ears.

Other Thoughts: For this price range, these sound great. I hear enemies from farther away in FPS and am able to use teamspeak in the MMOs I play. Crisp sound and clear voice help you be a team player. The fidelity is pretty darn good. I am able to listen to movies and music late at night and there is little to no discernible difference between my 2.1 speakers. All in all, a great sounding headset.

5 out of 5 eggsJust another headset?

Pros: Light, comfortable, Sound, Mic.

Cons: Cable: it's short, skinny and feels low quality.

Other Thoughts: I like this headset because it wasn't outrageous in price and has a good quality mic and sound.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad at all

Pros: Well sound is great, and software that is used I liked very much. Great for shooters love how you can make the team speak crystal clear while you can still tell the direction of where enemy fire is coming from.

Cons: Cans are a little on the small side. I do not have large ears or anything and this squeezes on my ears and makes it a little hard to wear for more than an hr at a time.but not why I docked an egg.

Other Thoughts: The usb adapter had a short in it. Took me a while to figured out why the headset kept picking up and dropping off. Did some poking around and found out this is common for this model of headset. Quality control for the adapter seems to have dropped the ball. We will see if the next one works when it gets here. Shame you have to return the whole unit and not the adapter itself.

2 out of 5 eggsPoor Quality

Pros: In-line volume control always a plus.

Cons: Left side speaker didn't work out of the box. Microphone is lacking in audio quality compared to the Logitech G35 that the Creative was meant to replace. The ear pieces don't fit over the ear, instead they sit on top of your ear compressing them and the rough perforated cushions feel like steel wool making extended wear uncomfortable.

Other Thoughts: I support Creative but not this headset.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Sound quality is great. This headset replaced a pair of Sony's over the ear and in ear buds. The detachable mic is a great idea. So far so good with not crushing it when I happen to fall asleep while wearing the headset. The usb audio drivers are great and the inline volume and mic mute are good also. I have no qualms with any of the features so far.

Cons: I wouldn't really call it a con since I have a big head and a giant fro, but due to the largeness of my head I had to forcefully break in the headset so it would fit on my dome.

Other Thoughts: Other than that I've had no issues from others hearing my voice in any way. I don't have to yell and scout mode is really nice. People can hear me loud and clear whether I'm talking or whispering on teamspeak, vent, in game voice apps etc.
