They work equally well as unrestricted intake fans for areas like side panels or bottom intakes.

1 out of 5 eggsunacceptable

Pros: push/pull large volume of air.

Cons: i'd give them ZERO eggs if it was an option!

where should i even start,

1st, they were a PITA to install due to the rubber grommet on each corner of the fan case (stupid design imo) which were so soft that as you turn the screws to secure, the rubber grommet will turn WITH the screw causing them to be out of place & you'd never know when they're tightened because the screws just keeps turning until it actually RIPS the grommet.

2nd, stupidly loud. i understand these are "performance" series & push/pull large amount of air but i just can't get over how loud & noisy they are compared to my Noctua NF-P12-1300 120mm Case Fans. it's like whisper vs. yelling.

3rd, once you have them installed & decide to remove them for whatever reason, good luck. removing the screws will do the same thing as when installing. the soft rubber grommets will turn WITH the screws & finally tear away from the grommet leaving the unit still attached in the case as you keep turning & turning & turning the screw driver trying to remove them.

last but not least, the decorative rings can only be installed on one side. so unless you plan to use them (which i DO NOT recommend) as intake fans, you won't be able to see the rings.

Other Thoughts: removed them & slapped my Noctua NF-P12-1300 120mm Case Fans back in. lesson learned.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Fans

Pros: i got 3 pairs of fans to fit all the spaces in my Corsair 300R, unfortantly it was tough to screw in the screws on the top and back sides for fans.

Cons: unfortantly it was tough to screw in the screws on the top and back sides for fans. (of the 300R)

4 out of 5 eggsGreat feeling, little bit noisy

Pros: The amount of air they are push through them, and my H100i.

They look very nice with 3 different colored plastic rings they allow them to work with any system build, and even allow you to paint them if needed to work right.

Cons: They do make some noise so if you are going for a complete quite build, go for the quite edition.

Other Thoughts: In all I really like these fans, wish they had one 200mm AF fan for my 600T case.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing performance and aesthetics

Pros: Very good performance
Very competitively priced
Nice packaging
Comes with everything you need

Cons: The only con I can think of is the colored rings can only go on one side. So depending on the way your air flow the rings may face down but you still can see them and it isn't enough to take an egg off.

Other Thoughts: To start off with I know you see these fans in a ton of computer builds online but until when you install them in your own PC you really don't realize how sweet they look. With the different colored rings to match your build(genius idea by the way) you can make your rig be the eye catcher of the LAN Party. I have these in my White Corsair 600T and they were the finishing touches to my build. They are on 240mm and 120mm radiators which are in a loop with a 200mm radiator. They are cooling an overclocked an i7 4770k cpu @ 4.6GHz and two GTX 780 classifieds overclocked @ 1300/7800MHz. My temperatures never go above 65* on the CPU and my GPUs never see 50*. I also have one as an exhaust fan in the back. I have all 4 Corsair fans on a fan controller and I leave them about 75% of the way turned up and can barely hear them. When turned all they way up you can hear them but they are not obnoxiously loud like a lot of the other high performance fans. I only turn them 100% up when I am benchmarking and they do a great job of pulling the heat out of my radiators when I'm pushing my system to the limit. All and all I am very happy with the performance and they complete my build with the way they look.

5 out of 5 eggsCorsair Fans

Pros: Exactly what i needed for my new rig, worked out so well im purchasing another unit. fans are quite even at full RPM and push some serious air, Thanks!

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Rubber bits for the corners are a little tough to screw through with what is provided but in the end made for a solid fit

5 out of 5 eggsI'm a fan (lawls)

Pros: Great looking fan. Runs quiet and my system's temps are phenomenal. I cant contribute that directly to these fans, but they are definitely part of the equation. My 7950 Xfire setup runs max and never exceeds 65C.

i have 5 in my system atm.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Would buy more if my case airflow required
