1 out of 5 eggsLifetime Warranty my "uknowhat"

Pros: Lasted 3 years before one of them failed.

Cons: .......One only lasted 3 years and gave me a blue screen. After troubleshooting I found it to be one of the cards. I contacted PNY via online support and never heard anything back after a few weeks, I attempted to contact them again. Still no response. I threw the card in the trash and will avoid PNY at all costs.

1 out of 5 eggsOne Egg Reviews Are Spot On

Pros: Ran for 2 years, sort of.

Cons: Complete failure after 2 years, 2 of the 4 sticks are bad. This is after 2 years of having video issues, randomly, that were fixed with a reboot. As mentioned in another review windows memory test found nothing wrong and memtest86 refused to run with the Biostar TZ MB that I have since quit using. All ASUS now with G-SKILL RAM.

Other Thoughts: I think PNY should completely do away with their support department and start fresh with good employees.

5 out of 5 eggsPNY At Great Price

Pros: The great stuff:
1- I paid **$74.99 locally
2- PNY quality
3- Cool looking RAM heatsink
4- Shipped "billypost" (see other thoughts)
5- NO UPS SurePost or Fed-EX SmartPost shipping AKA UPS SureIsLate and Fed-EX SmartLate

Cons: The not so good stuff:
1- Was not free??
2- DDR3 1333Mhz RAM is being phased out

Other Thoughts: Yup, I paid a mere $74.99 locally at brick n mortar retailer where I an now getting the "best buys." The RAM was well packaged by PNY and I had no issues whatsoever. You must verify your motherboard/CPU supports DDR3 1333 MHz RAM. Furthermore, never install any pc component on carpet; due to fact static electricity will cause damage. Yes, I stated this RAM was shipped "billypost." Here is how it works:
1- From local retailer's shelf to my cart
2- From my cart to cashier and back into my cart
3- To my car to my house to my **front door**

As long as e-retailers cut shipping expenses and ship Fed-EX SmartPost & UPS SurePost I shall continue to use "billypost." When an e-retailer uses these generic shipping methods it shows they care nothing about their customers and only about their bottom line. My local electronics retailer is now either matching or beating ANY major e-retailer pricing on same product, so my shipping woes are over! ALL my holiday shopping was sent via "billypost."

3 out of 5 eggsCost-Effective, but Lacking Quality

Pros: For the price, I think these are decent memory. I bought these in 2012 when the price was $81 and it's now halved. I'm still using one of them but definitely upgrading once I build my new rig.

Cons: I've owned these for two years. From my experience, they are not worth $81 dollars. About a year ago one of the sticks went defective leaving me with only 4GB RAM. Don't know if it's because it is one of the more economical sticks of RAM or I just got the short end of the stick. The other one is still operating very well, so that justifies at 3 eggs. If I was strapped for money and in dire need of new RAM I'd pay the $35 price tag for these.

5 out of 5 eggsReliable

Pros: I've had these ram sticks (4x4GB) for nearly 3 years now, they work, and they've lasted me this long without a hitch. They're low profile so you don't have to worry about cooler space.

Cons: None, not a single one.

Other Thoughts: Buy these if you want a product you can rely on to work, PNY build these things to last.

1 out of 5 eggs50% DOA

Pros: The RAM looks very nice and 1 stick out of the 2 was functional

Cons: 1 stick was broken and I didn't discover until running memtest86. Thus I downgraded to 32bit using the functional stick and a friend tested my ram with Memtest86 to discover that it was the 2nd stick that was causing the BSODs in Windows 7 64bit.

Other Thoughts: Well I paid for 2 sticks of ram and got 1 working one.

5 out of 5 eggsGood so far

Pros: Inexpensive
small heat covers

Cons: not 1600 mhz

Other Thoughts: I got these cheaper brand new from another local retailer. These BARELY fit under my cpu fan, so I'm glad they didn't have crazy heat sinks on them. I have OCed to 1600 MHz and they run fine for me so far though CAS was a little. I will update in a few months to see if they are still working good.
