Cons: Please look up the term "bonded leather" before buying "leather" furniture.
My wife and I bought a $1200 couch with double recliners built in and thought we'd have it for the rest of our lives. After a couple years we noticed the finish bubbling a bit on the cushions. Turns out our couch was made with bonded leather. Now there are huge gross scars on all of the cushions as the finish peels away, and our carpet is littered with little brown plastic flakes all the time. We also have a hole on a cushion that my elbow made when I got up from lying down.
If you do the research you will see that bonded leather is a laminate or a composite, but is not organic leather. This means it is made from leather shreds that have been glued and pressed to resemble leather. It is the thinnest and weakest material, and has no correlation with the quality that true top grain leather imbues.

Other Thoughts: Maybe if you need a chair to sit in a corner and look nice and not be used much, this is the chair for you. But I wish the use of bonded leather would just stop altogether, as I'm still feeling the pain of being burned.
