Pros: Stays quite cool to the touch - outside of the fire box.
Nice looking

Cons: Smaller firebox than I would like - but the safety of it is worth it

Other Thoughts: I replaced a copper bowl - pit with this. Any time a little one got within a few feet there was the possibility of a burn.
Obviously, the children still need to be closely supervised - but the danger has gone way down with this unit.
This is not stone/rock and I wondered how the materials would hold up - I've had some VERY intense fires in it - with no sign of any damage or trouble.
