Pros: Cheap and it works

Cons: Antenna was bent, lots of scuff marks, bottom of the unit had a corner that looked melted.

Other Thoughts: Hey, it works. If i get the rebate, it makes it worth it.
If not, the worst buy I've made this year to date.

Other Thoughts: Grabbed my outdated Mech. Eng. degree, and long forgotten Caterpillar Service Engineer experience and took radio apart. Unstuck the switch. Two stars ‘cause fair price when works.

Pros: It works as a cheap radio - somewhat.

Cons: Clock display is missing complete digits so that is worthless and doesn't work, press "weather" instant button on top of radio and it comes on at full volume - no adjustment to volume - can't understand at that volume, tuner in selection of radio stations is poor. can only listen to weather feature if you turn on radio, then press weather to control volume - make instant weather feature a no-go. I just hope I get my rebate. OK with rebate for a cheap radio but absolutely don't buy.

Cons: I guess you get what you paid for. The clock broken when it arrived, and the reception is not as good as expected.

Pros: cheap and inexpensive weather radio

Cons: Arrived defective, clock doesn't work, volume is dirty so you have to fiddle with it to hear anything. Doesn't tune a weather station. Basically worthless. Shipping back to newegg to exchange it is from 10 - 12 $ depending on service, so I can gamble on the next one working or goodwill this one and buy a good radio.

Pros: This is the best radio for $13 even without the $10 rebate card I have seen.

It picks up a lot of stations so the reception is very good.

It says refurbished but you sure can't tell it. It looks and sounds like new.

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these, thinking "how hard is it these days to make a radio?" The rebate made the price reasonable enough that I figured I'd take a chance on something refurbished. I bought one for the garage and one for camping, and unfortunately waited until I wanted to use them to test them out, after the 30 day warranty had expired. The first one no only didn't work, but when you turn the power switch OFF the volume of the static gradually rises until it's blaring at full volume, even while powered OFF. The second unit was MISSING the power switch. The only good thing I can say is that just yesterday I received the rebate for these, so at least they're honoring that.

Pros: Cheap. Has AC power supply. Free shipping and FAST! delivery from Newegg. Could not ask for more.

Cons: Really poor performance at best. Takes 3 hands to hold the 4x AA batteries in place and put the back cover on.

Other Thoughts: Whoever designed and manufactured this should be fired.
