Lost Odyssey features breathtaking visuals and an epic adventure made possible only by the power of Xbox 360.

Kaim's struggles are set in a world that is on the verge of a "mystical industrial revolution," where mankind has attained dark powers.

Massive scope: The massively scoped worlds, memorable characters and epic storyline play as an intense and unsettling blockbuster action film. Heading up the artistic demands of the title is famed Japanese comic artist Takehiko Inoue. Renowned composer Nobuo Uematsu has been recruited to create a contemporary soundtrack; realistic next-generation graphics: Powered by Unreal Engine 3 technology, Lost Odyssey boasts stunning visual fidelity and rendering quality. The technology pushes high-definition visual designs to a higher level and brings out the smallest details in the largest battles.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Excellent game, good music (sounds like Final Fantasy) great gameplay, the game is decently long and it's an RPG. We just don't get enough of them these days. This game rocks, I recommend it to any RPG fan.

Cons: What?

Other Thoughts: I could continue praising it, but you have to buy it to see for yourself.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Game

Pros: Hinorobu Sakaguchi, the creator of Final Fantasy made this RPG. He was largely involved in Final Fantasy 1 through 6. Music's by Nobuo Uematsu (also of Final Fantasy fame).

Cons: Main villain could have been better.

Other Thoughts: Overall, very epic. Great characters and nice story.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid Classic RPG

Pros: Very pretty visuals, the skill-building system is a new and interesting twist on the usual "equip X to learn Y" formula, the "A Thousand Years of Dreams" vignettes are some of the most beautiful, bittersweet readings I've seen in a JRPG.

Cons: Some parts of the game require a bit too much grinding for my taste. Some of the voice acting can be a bit spotty.

Other Thoughts: I love classic-style JRPGs, but it couldn't have hurt Mistwalker to evolve the genre without changing the basic mechanics too much. It would be nice to have another JRPG with a battle system like Chrono Trigger's, instead of either stoically sticking to its screen-switching random battle roots, or desperately trying to ape MMOs.

5 out of 5 eggsmax fun, low $

Pros: If you like RPGs then you will love this game. It has all the fun of many famous classic JRPGs. It also has fantastic graphics, and a great story. Have spent many enjoyable hours playing this game.

Cons: Not many since it is currently the best RPG on the 360. At least until FFXIII.

Other Thoughts: Has 4 discs of HD quality content. :)

5 out of 5 eggsA must have for the 360

Pros: The game is very beautiful and fun to play. I'm glad to see the RPGs on the 360.

Cons: The game takes a little getting used too.
The story lags at certain points, then blows you away with a whole lot of story in other parts. This isn't a negative thing, just not as balanced as I like. Its not a bad thing, but there is some balancing that needs done between the begining of an area to the boss fight. Bossfights can be a little difficult if you don't lvl your characters up and what not. Other then that its a solid game.

Other Thoughts: Overall, this game is def worth playing. If you're looking for an RPG this title is def worth picking up.

5 out of 5 eggsFF8 Reborn

Pros: Beautiful graphics, engaging story (more so if you read the dreams), interesting character dynamics, attention to detail, good dialog.

Cons: Utilizes tradition Final Fantasy type turn-based combat (which I like). Also, my brand new, unscratched 4th disk repeatedly freezes upon loading, making me unable to continue the game. I'm in the middle of an RMA, but waiting to finish the game after 30+ hours of attachment is agonizing. I strongly suspect this damaged disk is caused by MS trying to stick 4 DL-Dvds into a single Xbox360 case.

Other Thoughts: I bought this game on a whim, and have been very satisfied with it. It seems very similar to FF7 and FF8, except there's not really an open world to explore. It has more of a manga feel to it, due to the influence of Takehiko Inoue (which is obvious when you see the illustration of Kaim). I expect this will keep my attention until Fable 2 comes out.
