5 out of 5 eggsIncredibly good headphones

Pros: Very true sound reproduction in all wavelengths.
Quite durable design. Both cord and headphones.
Nice included storage case.
Merrily comfortable.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I purchased these at one hundred dollars and have never been more satisfied with a pair of headphones.

5 out of 5 eggsGeneral listening

Pros: I did a lot of research, and these were some of the best you can get for around $200.

I'm no audiophile, but these are the best headphones I've ever owned, period end of story. I don't do anything crazy or professional with them, normally just listening to music, watching movies etc. But in my opinion they were worth every penny.

2 things I especially liked:
The foldability- Nothing new here, but still nice.
The spiral detachable cord - Again not innovative, but a very nice feature.

I have fairly large ears and I can wear these for hours at a time, no problem at all.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Sorry if you were looking for a review about sound quality, but I honestly don't have an opinion about not enough bass or too much treble or whatever. They sound fantastic to me, and that's all I have to say about that :)

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Headphones

Pros: - Studio Quality
- Cheap for studio quality
- Insanely good sound reduction
- Sound pressure feels beautiful
- Incredibly Sturdy build
- Comfort-ability
- Perfect for large eared people (such as myself)
- Perfect for large headed people (such as myself)
- Multi-Purpose
+ Gaming
+ Studio Recording
+ Remain Concentrated
+ Casual Enjoyment (Not recommend if this is the only purpose)

Cons: - Long cable

That's it...

Other Thoughts: After having these headphones, these headphones are phenomenal and great for other tasks. As an avid gamer, the sound reduction these headphones produce is of top quality. I am more than glad to purchase these headphones. Along with that, I am also an avid musician. I haven't had quite the time to get many recordings down but these headphones with a high quality condenser microphone will not only give you great feedback, but you'll also to enjoy music and increase your frags on your preferred game. In a personal opinion, I think I will be a loyal customer to Seinnheiser.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Cans

Pros: Music is very good through these. Bass translates very well doesn't bleed into mids or highs. If you listen to hip-hop and you love your sub bass its there. You may even be surprised that sub bass and actual bass are too different things hahaha. If you are trying to monitor music these are it. Vocals come in very nice with music playing the back drop as you will want.

Cons: Not for Bass-heads who want to be engulfed in bass. These headphones are not hi-fi either. They are more mid-level audiophile types cans. Some sound leakage too.

Other Thoughts: I auditioned the Audio Technica M50's and the Beyerdynamics DT770 80 ohms and I was more impressed with the HD 380. The M50 had like a veil of bass similar to what you would find in the Beat Pros and I don't like that.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Quality; Long cable.

Pros: I love everything about these headphones except on thing (going in cons obviously.)
The quality of these headphones speak for themselves but on the technical side, 8 herts? You're going to expect some relatively good bass quality. 28k herts? Expect immense quality for Treble. These are professional headphones and I would highly recommend these headphones. These head phones are more than just meets the eye. These headphones are great for reviewing your edited or editing sources (such as audio/video making.) Last but not least, the comfortability of these headphones are unbelievable.

Cons: My only flaw with these headphones (since I'm an avid listener,) is the length of the cable. These headphones are great for studio work but the cable length makes it agitating for casual use (such as gaming, listening to music, but quality is of the highest.)

Other Thoughts: Other thoughts would be that these headphones are nothing but a phenomenal in quality and comfortability.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Quality
Price for the quality

Got these in store, for connecting to my computers sound card. Needed a bit of adjusting of the sound cards EQ to get the sound as I like, but once tweaked they sound amazing.

Cons: The highs seem to be a bit harsh to my ears, but that may be more an issue with my sound card or just my ears rather than the headphones. With a bit of adjustment with the EQ the highs can be brought down to less than painful levels.

Other Thoughts: Well worth the price for a quality product...

5 out of 5 eggsGreat headphones

Pros: Cear sound, great bass, beautiful highs and lows.
These headphones outpreform the Dre's and Bose, in my opnion. Nice and light, I dont feel them to be tight at all around the ears.
Sure can headbang without them falling off!
I love how they fold up into a little case.

Cons: Can't put ham and cheese inbetween them and eat it.

Other Thoughts: I'm probly going to purchase another pair, since there very impressive.
Great packageing, Thanks Newegg, and Sennheiser.

5 out of 5 eggsBest headphones i have ever owned/used

Pros: Amazing sound quality, these are truly monitoring headphones, I have never heard this good of a sound outside of a professional studio using very expensive monitors. They stay true to the mix better than any other headphones I have ever heard, unlike beats which add far too much bass into every song you listen to, these only add as much bass as is actually in the mix that was made in the studio. I'm hearing things in my own bands recordings which i never heard before, and that's saying something about the level of detail with which these headphones replicate the mix. The passive noise canceling is a massive plus as well, with its cancelling levels being the highest out of any non-active noise cancelling headphones i have ever used. All around amazing headphones.

Cons: As others have said they are a bit tight, but not much. You really stop noticing it once you stop thinking about it.

Other Thoughts: They completely envelope your ears, which is something I always look for in headphones. For the price/performance ratio I do not think that these can be beaten, and are certainly far better than the Bose AE2's which they replaced.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Upgrade

Pros: Crisp highs, great bass, love the compact fold out, carrying case, noise blocking ability. Compared my buddies Noise Cancelling Bose to these on the plane and these cans did just as good of a job blocking the outside noise (not to mention sounded better too). These were a nice upgrade from my HD 280 Pros in the fact that they are easier to travel with. I just use the 280s to game.

Cons: Wish the carrying case was built a little bit tougher and had more room for the coiled cord.

Other Thoughts: Buy these now. They are a steal under 200 bucks.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for DJing Sessions

Pros: They sound much much better than all of the (lower cost) Sony, Skull Candy, and other (wireless) Sennheiser headphones I have used in the past several years.

Bass and highs sounded great. I was hearing more of the music than before with lower quality headphones. I feel you get what you pay for with these.

Cord is coiled and more than longer enough. I like how the small jack screws into the large jack ensuring you never lose the large adapter.

Cons: These sit a bit tight on the head. You could probably jump out of a plane at 30,000ft with these on and they wouldn't come off (even if your parachute failed to deploy). They aren't so tight that I wouldn't use them though... maybe they just need some break-in time...

Other Thoughts: I use these for DJing @ home (hobby). At first I was worried that I would have to return these due to buyer's remorse. They seemed about $50-75 more than I wanted to spend. But after using them for a day I am hooked. Well worth the $ assuming they last 2-3 years. Construction seems solid enough to believe they will still be in use 5 years from now :)
