The distance that you have to be to the vehicle is not that great. Sometimes it is 5 feet away, sometimes you might as well stick the key in since it won't respond. Even changed the batteries to new Energizer and to new Duracel 2032, but it didn't improve. I bought two of these FOBS and they all do the same thing.
