5 out of 5 eggsDoes exactly what you need it to do

Pros: I've had this model power strip since 2008 and it has never failed me. I've had a bunch of power outages, lightning strikes on the power lines, brownouts, power surges, etc. The placement of the plugs lets me put all the large plugs from my speakers and such without blocking anything else.

Cons: Doesn't wall mount but if you really need it on the wall a simple cable line holder or a bent nail will do the trick.

5 out of 5 eggsFellowes 99090 surge protector

Pros: Excellent layout for plugging in different types of items. Well built and sturdy. I retired an older model surge protector that had many, many hours of use on it. I expect years of trouble free service from this one as well.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsSo Useful that I Keep 2 Around

Pros: This surge protector has multiple plugs with a great layout. I almost never have trouble putting oversized plugs in. I believe at one point, I had 2 routers, 3 computers, a phone, and a modem plugged into it without having to really think about any major adjustments to what's already plugged in.

Long enough cord for majority of purposes, and very compact. I always leave one at home and travel with another one, especially if I expect any shortage of outlets.

Cons: The plug of the surge protector has the table leading downwards. If you are unable to plug it into a bottom outlet, that poses a problem. However, this is usually avoidable if you just swap outlets.

Other Thoughts: I've been using my 2 surge protectors for nearly 4 years, and they have never failed me. One of them does have a flickering light for the actual switch, but hardly a complaint from me for 3+ years of constant use.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Surge Protector!

Pros: All connected PCs still working great after 3+ years. Great shape, offers tons of outlets (8) unlike most of your regular flat surge protectors. Good price and protection insurance puts my mind at ease.

Cons: Shape really a love it or hate it thing, if you stick it fully in a L shaped corner you won't be able to use one or two outlets but if you're going to stick it under a desk or something much better than having a regular protector that would need to be around twice their normal length to have so many outlets.

Other Thoughts: Not a UPS :( so don't expect protection from brownouts but I knew when purchasing.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Unique design that allows multiple wall bricks to be plugged in.
Now you don't have to waste a plug due to a device taking up 2.

Cons: I didn't find this sooner.

Other Thoughts: Have multiple WD MyBook drives that I have had to make an intricate system of surge protectors and extension cords in order to have them all plugged in. 2 of these eliminated that potential fire hazard.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat design!

Pros: The design of this suppressor is inspired! There is plenty of room for all shapes and sizes of plugs/adaptors. In addition, the wider footprint and the fact that the outlets face different directions make for a more stable unit. That is, it tends to stay put even if you tug on a cord or two. Other suppressors I've used tend to move and flip when the cords are jostled. In addition the 6' cord gives the suppressor greater range.

This guy is a great value for the price.

Cons: None with the unit itself. The shipping cost seems excessive, but that's probably because I'm spoiled by all of the free shipping deals NewEgg offers.

Other Thoughts: We had a power spike/outage last month that knocked out a few components, including the 15+ year-old surge suppressor this Fellowes 99090 is replacing.

Though I am impressed with the design of this unit, I can't really tell how well it functions as a surge suppressor until the next major power spike hits (which may be tomorrow or not for another 15 years). I'll update my review when it does!

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Surge Protector

Pros: Small footprint compared to normal power strips, and the off angles of the plugs help with the odd devices we have to plug in today. The angled plug helps, my old strip would get bumped loose because the plug was too close to the bed.

Cons: None.
