5 out of 5 eggsdual use headset

Pros: Great headset. Works great with the Xbox. Sure beats using the old wired headset. Works great as a Bluetooth headset for my phone as well. Easy to switch from the Xbox to Bluetooth when someone calls during a game session.

Cons: Battery life is not that long. Wish I could use any Bluetooth headset for Xbox like ps3.

4 out of 5 eggsYou Decide

Pros: Its Wireless and not 200$! what more can you ask!
Good soundquality for the limited bandwidth of XBOX mic conversations
Awesome battery life
Lightwieght and comfortable for your ear.

Cons: the ear clip is quite fragile so just be aware of it and youll be plenty fine

the mic is quite odd it wont pick up anything up if you speak softly as you would at night but once your loud enough for the mic to think oh someones talking i shall turn on it will pick up EVERYTHING in the room. so for the late night players that still live with their parents who actually get mad when you are too loud be aware of the mic. I might be eggagerating this a bit much but it is quite a nusince having to repeat myself at a slightly higher volume every now and then at night.

Other Thoughts: otherwise this this mic is absolutely great also works great with every bluetooth capable device i have but bluetooth headsets for phone conversations have been outlawed since 2010

4 out of 5 eggsGreat:)

Pros: I bought this product because I needed something that I could use with my Xbox 360... Turns out the product is great... I use it every day that I play COD or any other game that I could mic.

Cons: The device does however feel lose in my ear...

Other Thoughts: great product... I would definitely wait till a major sale is on. I didn't pay $59.99 for my head set... I paid like $29.99 for it

2 out of 5 eggsGood case build quality. Lousy internal quality, Broke in a week.

Pros: Wireless & Bluetooth is nice to have all in one, and the Dock, the Dock was the best part its not too un-comfy but anything that was a few dozen grams will hurt and tire your ear eventually. It comes with 3 other ear fittings for all you big or tiny ear people out there.

Cool LED light, Nightvision turn on sound is not loud at all and is only played in the speaker. Also the dock is shockingly good quality it has some weight too it too. At least MS was nice to give us that.

The case quality is good and study the LEDS are bright and nice.

It has the same functions of all bluetooth devices. Like the very not so obvious answer/end call and mute button. At first I thought the xbox player LED light indicator was that function but its outside but in a recessed lever of sorts that clicks.

I wish to say for 30 it is a great price for the FEATURES it is, but quality is left to be desired. (Read in cons)

Cons: You can really see why these are so much cheaper now than the old school ones. They knocked down the quality in such an unreal way. Other than the speaker no longer working which I am going to RMA. The Call quality is lousy like legit a 3/10 and wireless router interference. It makes a pop sound when you have it on with a wireless router. I know they are both the same 2.4ghz bands but for them to be on the same channel doesn't seem likely so this is either defective model or there is sound interference.

The sound quality with xbox and bluetooth is just garbage. It is ok loudness but really the speaker feels worse than free ear phone buds you get at a carnival and not only sounds very dull but just not crisp and you can't even understand some words. I used to have a samsung bluetooth that I got FOR FREE on newegg with rebate and it blows this thing out of the water. The distance is also kinda poor too with bluetooth. Xbox it seems okay but you never need to be far from that.

I wanted the dock, like badly. My old school xbox wireless got fluids spilled on it from it chilling on the coffee table. So a dock is not only nice to not lose it but to keep it nice and clean and away from fluids. Especially beer.

Stuck with it having to be MW3 design and not come with covers I bought this one over the nre stock black xbox one just solely for the dock, The hidden sync button for bluetooth really threw me off until I found it which was annoying because the instructions don't point were it is, and just says hit the sync button which you think at first is the LED litted one on the inside. The xbox syncing is easier and doesn't require to you the sync bluetooth sync button, I can't say this is really a con, but wish they said in the instructions to look for the non LED button.

Kinda big and a little bulky. Its not real heavy per se, but its a lot bigger than any bluetooth headset on the market so it makes a better wireless xbox mic than to haul it around on business meetings because of its over all size and eventual bearing weight.

Other Thoughts: Now I do understand it was only 30 bucks which is a good price for the features but in all actually for the quality. I kinda figured ms would have a certain standard for some of their things. It seems like they just wanna penny pinch things so much they are willing to make quality just subpar It is sad too because I don't believe us customers should be treated like this if it wasn't for us, MS wouldn't be a 60billion dollar company. If they really wanna short change us out of the extra $3-10 bucks it costs for a better speaker or wireless chip. I don't care if they keep these at $50 bucks. I will still buy it, if I know it will be good quality. I think this is the last MS peripheral I will buy other than controllers and batteries.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great!

Pros: Much louder than the headset that came with my 360. Different earbud sizes so I found a size to fit my small earholes. Voices are much cleaner and people have said my voice sounds cleaner as well. I have a loud 5.1 speaker setup and this headset allows me to communicate while a lot of noise is happening around me.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I haven't noticed all of the noises people have mentioned in the negative reviews. I hear a noise on startup and then I get the various beeps when I am on mute or the battery is running low. Otherwise the communication is clear.

5 out of 5 eggsSome good bang for your buck!

Pros: The swtich between bluetooth and xbox is amazing. The switch is color coded too, blue for bluetooth and green for xbox. This Call of Duty headset actually makes Call of Duty sounds like a special edition xbox would. When you switch over to xbox, it makes the sound of NVG's being turned on. The buttons are simple. The headset is actually quite comfortable to me. I loved the older style, and was scared to switch.

Cons: Some things I noticed after using the headset with my Xbox is the million sounds it makes. When you mute it or connect it, it just keeps making all kinds of annoying sounds, and when you mute it, besides just beeping, it clicks and blurps.

At the same time, it is not the best cellphone bluetooth headset out there. It picks up wind very easily, and the worse part is that the phone has to be very close (pretty much within reaching distance) and cannot have anything between the two or it will tend to fade.

Other Thoughts: Besides the few downfalls, for $30 it is good stuff and does what its suppose to, just not super well. I only give it 5 eggs because it is still ahead of its time and WORKS.

2 out of 5 eggsDont use it because its annoying

Pros: Its small and light and looks cool

Cons: This doesn't perform well at all. I use the normal headset over this because the popping when someone talks is annoying. Pops in, plays the end of the first word someone says then pops out.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty Cool

Pros: Small, light, comfortable, sound Pickup is pretty good.
Battery life is pretty good as well.

Cons: Only complaint is it doesn't fit small ears.
Bought it for my son who's 10, and it doesn't fit him very well.
Fits an adult just fine.

Other Thoughts: If you are buying it for a teenager/Adult think you will be pleased.
If you buy it for a small child the fit may disappoint you.
No issues whatsoever so far other than the fit.

4 out of 5 eggsOk bluetooth, great replacement for wired headset.

Pros: Speaker is louder then the issued Xbox wired headset. Charging doc is nicely well weighted and the rubber bottom keeps it from sliding off any surface. The microphone picks up my voice very well and other gamers can hear me clearly. Xbox menu shows how much juice is left in the battery right next to your controller battery power. Battery power lasts between charges. A full charge takes less then two hours. Switching between player 1 though 4 is easy. Wireless range is just enough for a standard size living room.

Cons: Instructions does not state how to properly pair with bluetooth device. The mic picks up background noises. Can pick up sounds from the TV if it's very loud. Not good in noisy environments in bluetooth mode. Pick up a lot of wind noise as well. If you're using it in a car, you will need to roll up your windows. Some people might find the head set to be uncomfortable, especially in long use.

Other Thoughts: In bluetooth mode, use the sync button to turn the headset into discovery mode.
