5 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: Price was ok, multiple outlets.

Cons: None----- see other thoughts

Other Thoughts: I wish that surge protectors would offer outlets spaced further apart without having to buy some special one so you can use all the outlets and not some. I went through a couple that I had and consolidated and put the big plugs on one and the smaller on the other.

5 out of 5 eggs8 Years and Still Running

Pros: plenty of outlets, decently long cord

Cons: would be nice for outlets to be turned 90 degrees if you have any brick-style AC adapters

Other Thoughts: Bought in 2004 because I needed one for my computer back then & didn't want to get a cheap one like my roommates and I were plugging TVs and video games into - well of course that computer is a distant memory by now & its successor is even reaching its twilight, all on this surge protector. I'm only considering replacing it now because I'm told they're only "good" for so many years, but either way they've been flawless years (surge protection wise)

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Ordered 3 of these nearly a year ago, and all 3 are still running strong with daily use to this day. The number of outlets is just right. Does what I needed them do. And it's an APC for $10 or less, depending on when you read this review.

Cons: The cord could be a little longer, but now we're just being picky.

Other Thoughts: Hasn't been "tested" in terms of protection in a surge (thankfully). Survived a few outages, some bad storms, and a hurricane though. Oh, and the package says 1080 joules.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Right amount of outlets, not to bulky.

Cons: The plastic covers are terrible?

Other Thoughts: Does what it's suppose to do.

4 out of 5 eggsGood multi-outlet :)

Pros: + Works as it should!

+ Good construction.

+ Plenty of outlets.. with the bottom one spaced a little further apart for larger adapters(transformers).

Cons: - Mounting holes are oddly positioned...
The two bottom holes are spaced closer than the top set..
about 3/16" closer than the top two..
..measure carefully** :P

- Not much 'slide' to the mounting holes for it to be secure..
I went ahead and removed the back so I could grind some plastic away so the hole area would have more length and so that the unit could slide more over the screw heads for a more secure mount :)

Other Thoughts: * Shipment was on time.

* I guess I would get another one if I need one...

**TIP:
To easily measure these holes:
Use a piece of paper and place it on the back over the holes, then press and rub the paper (not too hard) over each hole until the paper shows the imprint of each hole.
Use a fine-tip marker and place a dot in the center of where the screw head will first enter, then use that paper as a template! ..got it?.... Whaaaalla! :P

5 out of 5 eggsNice product

Pros: Does what its intended to do. I haven't experienced any lightning storms yet, (knock on wood) so that side of this product hasn't been tested.

Cons: None that come to mind.

5 out of 5 eggsCan't beat APC

Pros: Simple, reliable, very serviceable.

Cons: I have no Cons comments. OK - here's one. I wish it would have shipped with an ice cold drink.

Other Thoughts: I have installed close to a dozen of this product for my clients in the past year or so. For small environments (a single workstation or a small server) you just can't beat this product.
