1 out of 5 eggsNot quite what I was expecting

Pros: Small device with the mouse and keyboard in one that fits comfortably in your hands.

Cons: The device did not have nearly the reception I thought it would have. I am not sure if full size keyboards regularly have better reception than these smaller devices, however I have had several cheaper keyboards that were full size that have had excellent reception, while this keyboard was so-so at best.

While the keyboard fits comfortably in your hand, the way I 'naturally' want to hold it seems to get in the way of the signal. I have to modify the way I hold it in order for the keystrokes to register.

When the device has not been in use, it almost seems like the best way to wake it up is to turn it off and then back on. I have waited what seems like several minutes for the device to wake up and in turn wake my computer up. Other wireless devices, such as the full size keyboards I have mentioned above, do not seem to have these issues.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: No driver to install. So that's great if you want to use it for multiple computers or situations. Actually works as a useable game controller, and even a great one for some games (Everquest as an example).

Used regularly by a family of 4 in the living room on the TV/computer. Set of rechargeable batteries seems to last weeks, if not over a month. Auto-sleep feature doing its job.

Cons: Would be nice if it had the option to turn tapping the touchpad into a click. However, given the where/how the pad sits when it's held, it ergonomically puts your finger(s) right on the left/right click buttons anyway. The fact the tap-click is turned off is probably a good thing considering how it's sitting around a lot like a remote and it's frequently just "grabbed". Annoying till the "light clicks" about how easy it is to just hit the buttons (like you do anyway with a mouse or gamepad).

Takes a second to wake up and doesn't wake up by the touchpad (probably intended), but no drama - just press the left or right mouse button.

Other Thoughts: If it worked as well as a regular keyboard mouse/trackball combo for playing games, I'd give it a 6 - but that's an unfair expectation for it so I gave it a 5. My girls play FPS games on easy anyway, and it's still a step up from a regular game controller for that. Maybe just as good if that's what you started playing with.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Small, fits in the hand. Easy to store with other remotes.
When its awake, it works well!

Cons: Goes to sleep, and takes a bit to wake up. Which can be a bit frustrating when in a hurry.. But beyond that it's fine.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Nice fit in the hands. Keypad works well.

Cons: Limited range - signal is block by small objects between unit and USB receiver. Touch pad is frustratingly inaccurate. Unit goes to sleep, hard to re-awaken.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for chillin' on the couch

Pros: The touchpad uses multitouch so you can scroll do some other stuff. Very handy. It feels like a game controller and can actually be used to play some games.

Cons: The device turns off after a few minutes to save power. To turn it back on, turn the switch to off, then on, then press and hold the "ID" button, until the green light on the front of the keyboard turns on and then off.

The range of the radio signal is very limited. Simply having my laptop screen between me and the receiver is enough to make the reception spotty. It's a good idea to put the USB receiver on one of those USB extension chords with the little stand. (not included)

Other Thoughts: I've owned many HTPC keyboards before this one. None seem to be perfect, but this the the best I've found so far. Hopefully it won't fail in one year (like all the other ones I've owned!)

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: I use two of these at work for computers that display aggregate plant data for easy viewing. I love this because I can hide the peripheral device from the operators, who might otherwise try to use the computers for personal enjoyment.

I only need to manipulate these computers once a week or so, and this little device is perfect for it. It can be hidden safely in a drawer, gives me no problems, and has yet to need a battery replacement (I'm always careful to turn them off when not in use).

Cons: Uhh...I could see the keyboard being hard to use for big-fingered individuals?

4 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: Works great was able to completely get rid of my mouse and keyboard for my media pc. It fits very nicely in my hands as well as my 2 younger daughters who have no problem in using it either.

Cons: The touchpad does not support tap and since I'm a laptop user it really annoys me. Would also be nice to have a backlit keyboard for being able to use at night.

Other Thoughts: I removed 1 egg because I had to get it replaced before even a month of use but I did not get it from newegg surprisingly the local store had it cheaper.

5 out of 5 eggsSo Far So Good

Pros: Fits great in my hands, feels a lot like an X Box controller, Great for HTPC, even works well for light MMO play. Touchpad works smoothly, keys are easy to reach with your thumbs. Typing feels like texting. Size.

Cons: none yet

Other Thoughts: a usb plug and play type charger for this would be nice

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for HTPC

Pros: It does as advertised.

Cons: Price. Thought it should have been a lil cheaper, but if it holds up to everyday use then it's worth every penny.

Other Thoughts: First build of a cheap HTPC, and wanted to eliminate mouse and keyboard with "REMOTE" and this did that perfectly.
