The OBi200 also supports the T.38 fax standard for reliable facsimile calls over the Internet.

The OBi200 USB port serves multiple purposes when used with Obihai USB accessory products. Using the OBiWiFi Wireless Adapter, the OBi200 can be placed anywhere within range of an 802.11b/g/n access point. The OBiBT Bluetooth wireless adapter allows a USB-equipped OBi device to pair with a mobile phone so you can place calls and answer calls using any standard home phones connected to the OBi. The OBiBT works with most mobile phones using Bluetooth wireless technology. 5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: Easy to setup, inexpensive when on sale, it just works

Cons: Didn't do it sooner, power supply could be better, ObiTalk/Ring.To/Anveo 911 setup was a little confusing.

I think I just happened to sign up with Ring.To during a site problem, but I eventually got the porting/Anveo 911 ordered.

The ObiTalk site lists two options for Anveo 911 service - $12/year standard and $15/year with alerts, but during sign-up I only got the $15/year option with alerts. Not a big deal for me, and maybe I missed a "hidden" prompt for the basic service.

Other Thoughts: Ported my AT&T landline to Ring.To for free. All kinds of sites would have you do the "Pay as you go" cell or SIM route - $10 to $15 for that, then port it to Google Voice - $20 for that, but both of those would have cost more money than the Ring.To/Anveo 911 route and it just seems like a lot more hassle to go that way. The Ring.To port was ordered on the 13th and completed on the 16th within an hour of the scheduled time. The Obi200 was automatically configured once the Ring.To port was completed.

Once the port was completed, I disconnected my internal phone network from the outside feed and simply plugged the Obi200 into a nearby phone jack. TADA - phone service back up using existing phones. I might have been without phone service for a couple minutes tops.

As another reviewer also noted, I replaced the power supply and there was a lot less noise on the line.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome, except for its power supply

Pros: When it works, it's great. I haven't had problems with it. Very configurable, and very flexible. Love it!

Cons: When I got it, the line is very noisy! with very pronounce Humming.. Turns out, it's due to the power supply that comes with it. It's terrible experience out of the box on that. But I'm lucky enough to have spare power supply from an unused cable modem, and with that, the line is silent.

Other Thoughts: Great device! I wish Obihai had used a higher quality power supply that doesn't induce humming noise on the line.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent VOIP Adapter

Pros: -- low cost
-- free landline
-- Google Voice supported
-- very small box
-- runs cool

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Bought this to replace and Obi100 that might have been zapped. I deauthorized the 100, registered the 200 on Obi's site, then linked to Google Voice. Took about 3 minutes. It did need a restart to show "Online," but I expected that. GV kept the same number, so no delay in service!

Super device!

5 out of 5 eggsNo noticeable delay!

Pros: Phone quality is great
no noticeable delay
device setup for google voice was easy
No special network configurations, just works

Cons: no complaints. not one.

Other Thoughts: Ive used a variety of voip phone service providers from Vonage to budget $9/month providers like "Phone Power" and line2. Vonage was great, but kind of expensive. The budget voip services had too much delay, and defect in the call quality. I was shocked how good the phone quality was with this device and my google voice account. Not a single complaint from the other party on the call, and no noticeable delay.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This item was fairly easy to setup and does its job well. I connected it to my landline wiring and now have have phones readily available throughout my home without having to carry/search for my cellphone. It also allows me to use a traditional fax machine to deal with government bureaucrats and the few people who live by faxes.

Cons: The unit died after 10 months which is why I didn't give it a higher rating. Fortunately it was still under warranty and Obihai promptly offered to send a replacement without any hassle.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great!

Pros: Easy to get connected and running with GV. Very good bang for the buck (look for it on sale). Compact, unobtrusive, reliable. Absolutely no issues.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Obi much much better connection quality than MJ, no annual fee or special SW req'd to connect to GV. I am ready to cancel my landline service.

5 out of 5 eggsFire Your Home Phone Provider

Pros: This was fairly easy to set up, it took an 1-1/2 to 2 hours in total. If you have a little experience or an existing VoIP service set up it might take as little as 15 min. The call clarity is great. I only have 1.5M DSL service through CenturyLink, and I haven't notice any distortion, static, or dropped calls. I can only speak of experience with Google Voice, and with that it seems to work well. Comes with a patch cable to connect with your router. Bought it on sale for about 33% off of the regular price.

Cons: Now my parents want me to set one up for them.

Other Thoughts: I had an existing Google account that I sign into using a Hotmail address. I could not get that to work, and that is why it took me a while to get set up. After troubleshooting for an hour or so, I made a new Gmail account and signed into Google Voice, then did a factory reset of the OBi device. It began working on the first try after that.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent VoIP Device for Google Voice in the Home

Pros: I have been a telecom engineer (now manager) for almost 20 years. I have worked on large enterprise VoIP phone systems and have used many different consumer and professional products. I am a long-time user of Google Voice with both my wife and I having GV numbers. This device was easy to configure and works remarkably well for a consumer grade product. Call clarity is crisp and clear. I have not heard any noticeable jitter on the line. I have a high bandwidth Comcast Xfinity Internet connection.

Cons: I did notice a delay when I test call with myself. Delay is expected on all VoIP lines, however, this is a bit more than what I am used to with my enterprise installations. Then again, I only notice it when I am calling myself. Calling elsewhere where I only hear 1 side of the conversation instead of both seems to be natural and has no issue. In other words, I'm being too picky over a non-issue.

Other Thoughts: Obihai has given me a reason to have a home phone hooked up again for the first time in 4 years.

5 out of 5 eggsActivation is on, not

Pros: Small in size, easy to configure (if you go to the correct website), numerous options for SIP or Google Voice, does not need reboots

Cons: none that I have found

Other Thoughts: In response to Dale H. I am sorry you returned this excellent device that can handle up to 4 SIP accounts. It appears you did not recognize that the instructions state to "Go To :" in step 4 on the included instruction pamphlet. The whole process to activate if you have a Google Voice account is about 10 minutes or less. I have purchased 5 Obihai devices (Obi110, Obi100, and THREE Obi200s) and they all work flawlessly.
