5 out of 5 eggsExcellent product for the price

Pros: Easy to use, little to no setup needed, but still handles management well too.

Cons: Only a single fan, wish it had multiple in case of fan failure

Other Thoughts: I'm finding this switch to be a nice surprise. All ports work perfectly in gigabit full or 100Mb full duplex (yes it does full duplex on all speeds, unlike another review found)

1 out of 5 eggsNot so nice surprise.

Pros: It works fine with 1 Gig devices only.

Cons: The switch does not support 100 MB/s full duplex. My remote management cards iDRAC insist on 100 MB/s full duplex. They would work fine if the switch advertised 100 MB/s half duplex, but somehow they get configured at full duplex by the switch and disconnect.
I would say this is product incompatibility, but I have never seen a 1 Gig switch that does not support 100 MB/s full duplex. I tried several other managed and nonmanaged 1 Gig switches and all of them properly support 100 MB/s full duplex. In the end I have to pay $130.00 of shipping label costs and restocking fees (sic!) to have it returned.

4 out of 5 eggsFor the energy efficient data center

Pros: 1. Works great for the high end needs of someone that has multiple systems that need the extra boost from multiple NIC's for higher throughput.

2. Easy to configure if you know that it is using the default IP of 10.90.90.90. Make sure to save your configuration when you are done as well.

3. Very quiet and energy efficient.

Cons: 1. Wish it came with some cable management adapters for rackmount use.

2. Without saving the configuration from the web UI it will revert back to the default 10.90.90.90 port assignment.

Other Thoughts: This has been a very nice purchase I would recommend again to anyone who needs 52 ports. Very nice product and the UI is pretty easy as well.
