4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works with Linux Mint out of the box, no need to install drivers. Doesn't drop the connection like my previous USB adapter.

Cons: Signal strength is only about 50%, but the computer is located in a basement while the router is on the 2nd floor.

1 out of 5 eggsNot great

Pros: Easy to install.

Cons: Windows could not find the driver, had to manually navigate to driver. This is quite slower than my Belkin Wireless USB stick adapter and it picks up a weaker signal and it has antennas!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works well on the commercial WIFI setup in the building where I live that has a commercial grade WIFI router and at least 12 WIFI relays. This unit works well with Windows, Linux, and Unix. Comes with both low profile bracket that works well with my new system and regular profile bracket that worked well with my old system.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: none

4 out of 5 eggsGood card

Pros: Easy to install
Low price

Cons: Didn't solve my connectivity issues in Win8.1.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to try to resolve an issue I am having with my Win8.1 wireless connectivity. It does have Win8.1 drivers available on the support website. It did not improve my continual drop out issue. Works great for WinVista, old hard drive OS. Tried it to make sure the card wasn't the problem. Just Win8.1 problem.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: - Great Range
- Reliable
- Fast
Better than any USB adapter I've used and I've had quite a few.

Cons: The antennas get in the way a little but was to be expected.

5 out of 5 eggsHandy, solid, quick

Pros: Windows 7 x64 install - using Windows to manage wireless network, no issues whatsoever. Solid performance, no drops, speeds consistent with other dual-band wireless N adapters in the same location.

Size of card allows this card to fit beneath an eVGA 780 Ti Dual Classified on an Asus X79 Sabertooth with no issues. Barely blocks a corner of one of the GPU fans, no noticeable airflow impact.

Cons: None noticed yet. First TRENDnet purchase ever.

5 out of 5 eggsVISTA 64 Bit Not Supported

Pros: Very stable, 20MBPS transfer rate on 5ghz channel to and from Netgear R7000 and a WD Mybook Essentials USB 3.0 2TB NAS, through two walls. See cons if you have 64 bit Vista. 5 eggs for adapter, 2 eggs for Vista!

Cons: Newegg Specifications page states Vista 32/64 Bit OS supported. However, not supported when trying to install to Vista 64 bit. Checked TrendNet Web site for TEW-726EC support, perhaps a driver update. Only 32 bit Vista supported at this time. Just used card on a Win 7 64 bit comp (which works great) and used Netgear WN111v2 USB adapter dongle for Vista 64 bit (2.4GHZ channel though).

Other Thoughts: I now have three of these wireless adapter cards installed on home network. Well satisfied with performance.
