5 out of 5 eggsTRENDnet - Will buy this brand again!

Pros: Works as expected and more.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I use it for a 3 node setup using Win7 64bit. Main computer is a 3d workstation with the other two as render nodes for 3d rendering. Never had a problem with with lost packets or the hub just not working. If you're looking for a simple no frills setup, works out of the box, this is the hub to get.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat switch for price

Pros: Bought as a simple switch for family; brothers using more than one Xbox, multiple PCs in 2 adjacent rooms but didn't want wires strung everywhere. Works well, haven't had any network lockups or issues. Simple- plug it in, connect cables, done.

Cons: None-

Other Thoughts: I provide network/PC support to them, never any issues. I would likely buy more Trendnet networking gear based on my experiences. Not ad, just good stuff at good prices when you don't want to drop a ton of cash on more expensive gear.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great!

Pros: Does exactly what it supposed to do, quality build metal case, wall mountable, had for 1 year and no problems so far.

Cons: None so far, surprised for trednet product.

Other Thoughts: Using this switch to get 4 devices to connect to 1 linksys wireless adapter in my living room. Now my blu-ray, LCD tv, AV receiver and DVR can use my wireless adapter to connect to my router instead of trying to run a very long wire.

5 out of 5 eggsBuilt like a brick

Pros: All metal construction. Has some heft to it. Lights are not too bright

Cons: Can't handle 1 Gb speed, but for my purposes not needed. If you want 1 Gb speed, get the TEG-S50G model.

Other Thoughts: Bought this switch for the entertainment center to split the network connection between the PS3 and video streamer box. It does the job that a switch should do. What really impresses me about the unit is the construction. The case is all metal. When you hold it in your hand it feels like a paper weight. This helps eliminate the issue of the attached cords tugging the box all over the place.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat buy!

Pros: Got it for only $8.99!! Just hooked it up and it worked great. No software to install or play around with. 5 ports come in handy. All 4 network items (receiver, Xbox 360, LCD TV, and blu-ray player) I hooked up to the Trendnet switch are visible to my Belkin router. Now able to access all my media files on my pc and ITouch thru my receiver.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: You could buy a cheap wired router to perform the same function, but you have to change the subnet settings on it, and you lose 1 LAN port to the incoming connection. Why bother when this Trendnet switch is such a deal?
