4 out of 5 eggsDell Touch Screen

Pros: Easy to set up on Win 7. Attached their cables that are supplied. Did not need the supplied CD to get operational. Downloaded the updated driver and their touch monitor Program, Flick, and screen became a touch monitor. Went to the device manager and to the Folder Option and made it a single touch rather than double touch like the mouse.

Cons: It says you can use a USB 2 or 3. I chose 3, but the touch feature was sporadic, sometimes it worked, others no. Moved it to a USB 2 and problem was solved. It is a 8ms monitor, so for gamers, not a good choice. For business great.

Other Thoughts: It is a 8ms monitor, so for gamers, not a good choice. For business great. Will be moving to Win 10, as that operating system is made for it.

3 out of 5 eggsDell P2314T Solid Monitor but Poor Color Reproduction

Pros: The Monitor has a nice amount of inputs; 2 HDMI, 1 DP and 1 VGA.
The Touchscreen and other features work as expected.

Cons: I do not like the color reproduction of this monitor. The Gray tones never look right on the display. I've tried all the presets and tried adjusting the color temps. But no joy. Honestly the Hanspree 24" touchscreen that I bought for $100 dollars less and has far superior color reproduction.

Other Thoughts: This is a solid monitor. Everything works well on the display. I do not like the color reproduction of the monitor. Personally, I think there are better touch screen monitors which perform better and cost less money.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: Bought for my 4 year old's computer. Use with windows 8.1 and he uses for learning apps, puzzles, painting, music and of course his shows. Zero issues with it, so much better than a tablet. Great focus when learning on it!!

Cons: Tilts back pretty good but lying flat would be better...guess you just have to pony up for that feature, lol.

Other Thoughts: As this is for a child, aways nervous about it coming off his table and breaking. This is especially worrisome with the spring loaded stand, that helps adjusting. I took 6 (3 on each side) wire holders and put them over the top of the front base and nailed them down. They hold perfectly in place and allows the stand to spin inside to adjust monitor up and down With any alteration to stand itself. I'm sure there are more visually pleasing ways other than whit pieces of plastic and nails but it works great and keeps it very safe.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid 10 point touch value at <$300

Pros: 10 point touch,
works immediately with windows 8.1,
very good image overall,
4 usb 3 ports
solid construction

Cons: tight fit to access all ports on back as others have indicated, but still useable (except for very long usb sticks...have to use side ports for those)

Other Thoughts: black is not as dark as I prefer in a monitor. once gama & color curves are adjusted delivers a "very good" image overall...on this scale "excellent" image would be a dell ultrasharp u2711 or dell ips FHD laptop display.

1 audio out port for headphones or external speakers useful for any applications distant from the computer

3 out of 5 eggsAcceptable item

Pros: Nice calibrated HD display, touch work well with windows

Cons: MHL supported ? Let's me laught thats not event work, touch will be realy strange to use, needed to use whole hand to move the cursor... So the cursor is moving like a laptop tractpad... Kinda Wierd and realy useless in thats way

Other Thoughts: If you wanna use it for Windows all will be fine, but with Android thats will be a pain and barely useless

2 out of 5 eggsDell P2314T monitor

Pros: Easy to use on-screen menus to set up and modify connection types and video options. Reasonably bright. Separate Dell app to modify video options is nice touch. Power/connection monitoring and energy saver feature is good.

Cons: Touch feature does not work with my Windows 8.1, Intel i7 4790, GeForce GTX 770 setup. No help from Dell or latest driver. Stand is flaky - easy to fall off back edge of desk if not careful. Spring-loaded triangle shaped stand makes it difficult to pick up, handle, and move the monitor. Cable attachment area is needlessly small and tight fitting. Cables with large, inflexible ends will be a challenge to attach.

Other Thoughts: I can live with the weird stand configuration and tight cable connection area. However, touch feature not working right out of the box is not good.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for Windows 8

Pros: Supports USB 3.0 and displayPort technology. Working with Windows 8.1 like a charm. Feels like a massive tablet with the tilt stand. Dell build quality is amazing.

Cons: No displayPort cable included

Other Thoughts: Didn't purchase from Newegg, but from Dell's site since they've been having some big sales. I have this hooked up to my htpc with my big screen TV. I set both displays to clone the desktop. I now have a touch screen interface for Civ V.
