3 out of 5 eggsJust looks nice

This review is from: PC Mazer II 1600DPI Wired USB Gaming Optical Mouse for PC Mac

Pros: Looks slick , DPI button lets you know what DPI you're at, and the optical sensor is pretty effective. Mouse wheel feels sturdy but doesn't require too much pressure to rotate or click.

Cons: * I forget the terminology for it, but there's some manufacturing process that gives a sort of "soft" feel to the plastic. After about a year, this stuff flakes away. The shininess below isn't bad, but it looks weird when part of the mouse has patches of this softer texture.
* The buttons go back pretty far, so it doesn't take much to accidentally click.
* The thumb buttons feel very loosely assembled and "spongy".
* The thumb rest pad doesn't extend where your thumb would actually rest, making it somewhat useless.
* The left click has lately been double-clicking on me when I only single-click. Also, sometimes if I click'n'drag, it will release, even if I firmly press down on the button. The mouse is pretty tightly assembled so I can't figure out how to disassemble it and clean it.

Other Thoughts: The feel of the mouse is definitely awkward, but you get used to it pretty quickly.

I would not recommend this mouse for daily use, though, if you need something temporary and cheap then this is fine.

4 out of 5 eggsgood product, good price

This review is from: PC Mazer II 1600DPI Wired USB Gaming Optical Mouse for PC Mac

Pros: Advertised: Offset usb wired connection, blue lighting is not distracting, 3 mode DPI button.

Comfort: Rubberized grip, thumb rest & nice long buttons for support. page forward/back buttons on side are well placed out of the way.

Feedback: nicely mid-weighted, large sliders underneath, steady/ planted feeling overall (especially due to thumb rest)

Cons: *right hand design mouse width is narrow. Pictured right side bulge is too far back/ small to offer support. I didn't expect my pinky and ring fingers to drag on the mouse pad.

scroll wheel only scrolls or clicks.

DPI button has no indication of which setting is in use

Other Thoughts: I was between a ergonomic design mouse and this. This was more $ but the selectable dpi feature is worth it IMO. Great responsiveness for casual gaming.

With a desk that is slightly higher than one's chair, I feel this upward arm positioning exaggerates the low/ narrow concern.
I would suggest if to others.

5 out of 5 eggsNot Bad

This review is from: PC Mazer II 1600DPI Wired USB Gaming Optical Mouse for PC Mac

Pros: So I've had the mouse for over a year now and I gotta say, its great. Very responsive, the dpi changer is great and back and fourth buttons for browsing are my favorite part, it was actually something I was specifically looking for to match my old mouse.

Cons: Took me an hour to get used to it?

Other Thoughts: Actually bought this mouse on e'tothe'bay and then found it on Newegg by accident. Awesome mouse! Buy it!

3 out of 5 eggsHard to Rate when you don't have the product

This review is from: PC Mazer II 1600DPI Wired USB Gaming Optical Mouse for PC Mac

Pros: Unknown

Cons: Don't have the mouse yet. Ordered it a month ago, but it still hasn't shown up.

Other Thoughts: Not sure why it takes so long to get anything from GlobalSell, hoping that I get my mouse soon though.

5 out of 5 eggsNice overall

This review is from: PC Mazer II 1600DPI Wired USB Gaming Optical Mouse for PC Mac

Pros: * Looks better IRL than it does in the pictures
* Overall pretty comfortable to hold, though could be better
* Easy to use (just 3 DPI settings)
* Cheap

Cons: * The thumb rest should have been pushed forward another half inch. If you try using the forward/back buttons, your thumb will be too far forward.
* I'm not sure what its called but the plastic has a sort of softness to it, like a very fine velvet. It feels nice, but after a week of use it's already fading away; it is visually noticeable.
* I don't seriously care, but pretty much the entire box and manual was written in Chinese.

Other Thoughts: * A little awkward to use at first, as this mouse really spreads out your hand
* The clear part is somewhat rubbery. Careful not to push it in too much
