This review is from: George Foreman GRP99 Next Grilleration Six Burger Grill
Pros: It cooks food without burning the house down.
Cons: Came packed in tons of plastic and foam - stunk like burning plastic the first time I used it. And yes, I verified I got all the plastic off before using it.
Doesn't have a decent handle on the front to open it - it's very easy to burn your fingers when opening the grill.
Doesn't go over 425 degrees. At first, you might think, why would you want to cook something at over 425 degrees? The answer is that because even when set at 425 degrees, the plates only get to 375 - I checked with an IR thermometer. Because of the low heat, food doesn't really brown. Chicken looks pale and unappetizing as if I microwaved it. The food tastes OK I guess, but it's definitely not even like cooking on a gas grill.
Other Thoughts: I've had other George Foreman grills and electric grills made by other companies and none have been this poor. If you want an indoor electric grill, this is not the one to buy unless it's all you can find.
