GX gaming launches its first professional 7.1-channel gaming headset, Cavimanus. This headset brings many exciting features to pro gamers. To survive in the game world, you must hear the enemy's step before it's too late. The virtual 7.1-channel system and 40mm Neodymium driver units are the key to this remarkable headset.
To make games more exciting, Cavimanus has a vibration function and the LED shows when the power is on. Plus the volume control is on the ear cup and you can fold the microphone away during games that don't require talking. You don't need to waste any time trying to fiddle with the control box.
The Cavimanus gaming headset is the most powerful weapon you need for the battlefield.
7.1 Virtual Surround
The Cavimanus features rich 7.1-channel surround sound that puts you right in the game. Hear enemies sneaking up on you from behind, or locate your friends on the battlefield. 2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Feels nice, the casing is well built, has good sound and bass.

Cons: A lot...While it's good for sound quality it is not worth the $70 I paid while it was on sale, The mic started acting up the day after the warranty, and I was never able to get ahold of the company itself.
once opened up however The craftsmanship is subpar, the wiring is low quality and jumbled.

Other Thoughts: I've dismantled and increased the sound quality with higher quality soldering and a few minor wiring adjustments however the mic can not be saved, so I'm stuck with an overpriced pair of headphones.

2 out of 5 eggsehh.

Pros: Decently priced, fold up to mute mic is nice, adjustable sound. Pretty comfortable

Cons: Randomly stops working for me at times. Can't figure out why it will just stop working and i have to replug it in.
The volume wheel gets bumped a lot.
USB plug in

Other Thoughts: Would be a great microphone if it wasn't usb and it actually worked 100% of the time instead of randomly cutting out.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for the money

Pros: -Covers the ears
-Comfortable
-Vibration feature is nice
-Sound is great
-Mic works well.

Cons: I thought the flippable mic would have more 'flip' to it, as if it were on a spring, alas! You have to move it all the way up manually but nothing worth docking an egg for.

Other Thoughts: Great headset for the money, feels sturdy and the volume on the ear is way nicer than having to fish for a toggle on the cord.

2 out of 5 eggsDisappointing

Pros: Comfortable
Easy to set up
Fairly cheap

Cons: Mic feels cheap
Lots of feedback
Sound quality could be MUCH better for v7.1 surround
USB means no nice sound cards

Other Thoughts: The design is sleek, and the headset comfortable, but after a couple hours of use, I went right back to my failing Tritton. The feedback on the microphone was somewhat terrible. Loud sounds and music carried right through. Even when not talking or playing sounds, there was an audible buzz that instantly ceased when I moved the mic "upwards" (muting it) and resumed upon "lowering" (unmuting) it. Any touching/rubbing of the mic while lowered resulted in loud noise coming straight through the headset speakers. Also, seeing as it was a USB set, I had to bypass my sound card. The audio quality is passable, but not even worth the virtual 7.1 surround. I don't think I will ever be buying a USB headset again if I can avoid it. If you need something cheap-ish to make due with, this might be passable, otherwise, there are other, much better quality headsets out there.

5 out of 5 eggsDurable

Pros: Finally a quality head set with a DURABLE design! I have had so many other more expensive head sets break due to poor design & material where the ear cuff mounts to the tension band. These are great and work beautifully. My friends and family all now use these for pc gaming, TS, Vent, & Mumble.

Cons: None thus far

Other Thoughts: Want durable quality? Buy these!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat but 1 problem

Pros: Everything one could ask for in a good set of headphones. I havent tried mic full potential but everything else has passed my test. I give five stars assuming mic is decent.

Cons: The title said 3.5mm. THESE ARE DIGITAL USB. I did not want USB but I'm still extremely happy with them.

4 out of 5 eggsUSB and preprietary drivers the only draw back

Pros: Circumaural 7.1 lives up to its name. Dubstep music resonates beautifully with the vibration function. Comfortable, even when lying on them sideways.

Cons: The drivers package allows the set to integrate smoothly with music and movies, but mic input apps will not find the headset's uni-directional gaming mic. No voice overs for my Studio vs. 14 creations, the digital authoring software apps still haven't found this mic.

Other Thoughts: Still greaT FOR THE TWO DIGIT PRICE!
