4 out of 5 eggsI Own One, and am Using it Right Now

Pros: It's "good enough", and not great. Hard to find a top-shelf wireless mouse that is rechargeable. I hate batteries and the devices that use them. It's an OCD thing with me, I think, because I got to a LOT more trouble, and pay a lot more money to use rechargeable mice. I've had at least 5 different rechargeable wireless mice over the last 5 years or so, and none of them are all that great. This one has lasted about 1 1/2 years, and I don't know why NewEgg doesn't show me as owning it, because I bought it from NewEgg.

The Good:
Works. Recharges, works, etc... Charges from a USB port with a USB-to-2mm (or so) power cable. Lasted over a year, until...

Cons: The Bad:
The battery lost some of it's capacity, and so now a mouse that used to work for about a week between recharges needs to be recharged at least every other day.

More Bad:
It's not really a "desktop" mouse. It's small, like a "travel" mouse, or a laptop mouse. NE, as usual, allows manufacturers to (I think deliberately) miscategorize their product's specs.

Yet even more bad:
Because it's small, and I'm a medium-sized (hands) male, it's easy to hit one of the 7 or so buttons located by the thumb, which is pre-programmed by the manufacturer to launch an internet browser window that goes to the A4 website. A script. I think the thing is programmable, so it can run maybe any kind of script/macro. Maybe someone would like that. I don't. It's annoying. But that's what you get when you buy a mouse with a bajillion stupid buttons that no one (really) ever uses.

It's that one machine that goes "BING!" (Monty Python reference).

Other Thoughts: I think NewEgg could do better. They're the best online e-tailor, and I think that's a negative in some respects because they haven't any competition in terms of price, search engine functionality, shipping cost, speed, etc....

But they could do better, I think. First, by holding these manufacturers to a higher standard of completeness and accuracy when it comes to describing the specifications of their products. In fact, if done properly, NE could make this a self-policing situation where manufacturers monitor and report when their competitors are (I think deliberately) inaccurately describing their products so as to (again, it's what I think) artificially inflate their sales. Which their competition should object to, if they are behaving ethically. End-result? Better service and customer experience, fewer returns and a better company overall.

I've emailed NE asking for someone to contact me (last week) because I have more ideas than this, but they haven't. Maybe this will shake the coconut tree a little bit.

Anyways, the mouse is "good-enough" and a safe buy, especially if you are female and/or have small hands. If you are a gorilla with bananas for fingers, you are probably going to hate it.

3 out of 5 eggsGood range

Pros: Good range, makes it easier to use in my living room on my television.

Cons: Mouse will sometimes stop working when starting applications, but if you close out of an application and reopen it the mouse will work.

Other Thoughts: Not a bad mouse, it holds a charge for a long time and has a good range, but there are better ones out there

4 out of 5 eggsGood Wireless Mouse

Pros: Light weight, Sizes is smaller but not to small. Has a back and forward buttons for easy browsing. Build quality is good feels solid even being a small mouse. Sensor is responsive and mouse wakes up quickly.

Cons: I do have a few but nothing they are minor I think. There is a Office Suite button on top the mouse roller. I hit it sometimes when I'm browsing quickly. It opens a browser tab for their office software. This is my biggest complaint. The next complaint i have is the USB charging cable. Its only about 8" long so if the mouse is dead and your USB isn't on the side you use the mouse on then I guess your out of luck. Also the USB port that connects to mouse looks like a old Nokia 2mm phone cable. Like the one that goes in the old brick phones. Anyhow if your like me and misplace this cable replacing it might be a chore.

Other Thoughts: all in all I like it and A4tech have been a good brand to me. I have owned 4 separate products from them and they usually are cheaper but do everything I ask of them. I always get my moneys worth even though I know its not a TOP of the line product. Cant ask for more.

Pros: very responsive, comfortable, affordable, click and it instantly wakes from hibernate

Cons: short time till it starts hibernating, short charging cable, doesn't work much without the driver from A4techs site (laggy, hibernate every min)

Other Thoughts: just get the driver and it should work great

1 out of 5 eggsNo luck with this mouse

Pros: Feature rich for a mouse of in this price range.

Cons: Right mouse button started sticking after 1 month.

Frequently enters "deep sleep mode" in the middle of use (a power saving mode that causes the mouse to become unresponsive) and requires clicking or vigorous shaking to wake up.

The charging cable is very short, much too short to reach from a standard wall outlet or floor level computer to the top of a 29" desk.

Other Thoughts: I have attempted to contact the manufacturer twice about the deep sleep problem. They have not attempted to respond.

5 out of 5 eggsnice mouse

Pros: just got this today, couldnt find a review ANYWHERE for this thing, so i figured id write one. i cant say how long itll last, however so far its a nice little wireless mouse. able to get a signal no problem from the furthest point of the room im using it in which is about 15 feet away. for what i wanted it for, a cheap media pc mouse, this is perfect.

Cons: the charger cord a little short, about 1.5 feet. plenty for me but maybe not so much for others.

Other Thoughts: provided this lasts, i find it was definitely worth the money, was 17 on sale at newegg for me
