4 out of 5 eggsdecent smallish keybd

Pros: small footprint, no numeric pad, wired. layout intended to be someone more ergonomic than the usual (ymmv). Media keys work fine, but a limited set not quite the ones I'd want (fixable to some extent via keybinds? dunno). I like the large enter key, but it's a bit out of the way. Works fine so far.

Cons: layout is a bit odd; 3 punctuation keys btwn L and Enter, instead of the usual 2. That took getting used to, but is workable. Noisier than you'd expect; a hollow clacking sound. Priced high for the build quality; it looks and feels quite a bit lower end than the usual cheap name keyboards.

Other Thoughts: I wanted something less wide than the usual 110key, to ease strain on my shoulders from long sessions. It does fine for that. I do wish it made less noise, but otherwise it seems ok. The price is a bit high for the el cheapo materials.

5 out of 5 eggskeyboard

Pros: Excellent with software and without load updates. Very sensitive to the touch when tying. And very cute for its size and shape. I love what with my small fingers and hands.

Cons: only can use to well with keyboard connector.

Other Thoughts: Works better with USB only

3 out of 5 eggsOne word: eh

Pros: USB Connection
Smaller than typical keyboard

Cons: Who decided to changed the layout of the Enter and Backslash keys? As far as I can tell there's no logical reason for them to be rearranged, yet, they are, and it sucks.

Other Thoughts: Given the poor layout of the enter/backslash key I can't give this product more than a three-star rating. That simple change makes typing much more difficult than it should be. This keyboard is also not as small as I had hoped...it's just as tall as a standard keyboard, but shorter. Power button doesn't boot my computer, but I don't care and haven't looked into it - could be an easy fix...

3 out of 5 eggs\\\\\\\ AAAAGH!!

Pros: It's small. It's slim. Multimedia keys work alright. Build quality isn't total ****.

Cons: The enter key is the most annoying thing ever. You'll constantly hit \ when you should be hitting enter. Also there is a smaller shift key on the right.

Other Thoughts: It takes a bit of getting used to if you're moving from a larger keyboard. Bought this for my Mini-ITX Atom server, and it works well.

4 out of 5 eggsSlim

Pros: Decent build quality for the price. The slim size is nice. I bought it for a Hackintosh build and luckily it works very well with OSX- the power button even works. The feel of the keys isn't stellar, but it's passable.

Cons: Wow, it's not just me! The enter key is an absolute abomination. You'll find yourself typing \ constantly. Total deal-breaker.

Other Thoughts: Maybe good as a backup keyboard that's easily tucked away, but I wouldn't buy another one.

4 out of 5 eggsIt Works

Pros: It worked when I plugged it in. It functions perfectly, the keys feel OK for what you pay. It works well on a narrow keyboard tray with a mouse.

Cons: No feet on top edge to tilt it further towards you. The ENTER key is shaped/placed oddly and I CONSTANTLY hit the / key instead.

4 out of 5 eggsa bit disappointing

Pros: -->Tiny!!! saves me a LOT of space for my mousing area.
-->Price! for $ you get it, plus shipping it is still great buy.

Cons: ->keys are a little stroke, finding it is a little different from laptop keyboard, and will need to get used to.
->The lay out for the "Enter" key is so weird, you will only find it out when you actually have it in your hand.
->"F1, F2...etc" are so close t0 the number keys(1,2.3 etc).
==> Compare my old "SIIG MINITOUCH", which are pretty much FULL functions in the MINIKEYBOARD, that includes "number pad" by using "FN" key. also, the keys feels like a NORMAL keyboard. still miss that keyboard which broken couple days ago.

Other Thoughts: for the price, it is ok...you get what you paid for. May check in FRY--S store for a different minikeyboard, see how that will work out.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Little Keyboard

Pros: I live in a college dorm, and this keyboard is amazing for such a tight environment. It's footprint is nice and small, the keyboard layout is just about the best imho for compact keyboards (for exceptions, see below), and the responsiveness of the keys is just about right for my liking. _Great_ for the price! I expected such a cheap keyboard to be trash after a year, but I've had it for a year and a half, and I haven't had a single problem with it! I dare say it's almost as good as new! (and I'm a CS major so I use it plenty :D)

Cons: No media keys -- I find media keys far more useful than browsing buttons. No Right Ctrl key -- this is annoying, but I used KeyTweak (freeware) to change the Insert key to Right Ctrl... never use Insert anyway. Keys make a fair amount of noise, so for some that could be bad -- I actually don't like most quiet keyboards, as the dampened sound also leads to a dampened tactile feedback.

Other Thoughts: Wow... I got this keyboard back when there were 7 reviews for it :D. The product here might be slightly different than what I have -- the only noticeable difference from the pictures is that my keyboard does not have the L shaped Enter key, which I agree is a crime against humanity. If indeed, that is how the keyboard is now, then it would be a large Con for me.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for the price

Pros: SMALL! I really wanted a small keyboard that was rid of the num pad to give my mousing area a little more room to move while keeping the alphabetical keys in front of me and not off the the side. This keyboard accomplishes that very well.

PRICE! It's hard to beat the price on this thing. Just toss one in on your next Newegg order and you hardly even notice the difference.

Cons: You get what you pay for. The keys are lower profile, but don't have good tactile feedback and are noisy. Very often I will be holding the shift key down with my pinky finger and go to hit another key and it won't register as a capital letter. I feel like you have to be more deliberate with the pressing of the keys or else it won't quite register.

For the low price, you can't really complain about it too much but it is definitely the downfall of this keyboard. That, and the right shift key is smaller than usual and I find myself constantly hitting the up arrow with the shift key and I end up highlighting the whole last line I wrote and typing over it. Maybe it's just because I have large hands though (not fat, just long).

Other Thoughts: If you want a keyboard that won't crowd your mouse and won't break the wallet, then this is a great choice. If you want something portable you can take to LAN parties with a computer or gaming console that you don't have to worry about, then this is it. If you want a keyboard with a nice keys, a good layout, and quality construction, then this is not the keyboard for you.
