5 out of 5 eggsGreat keyboard

Pros: The red WASD keys are very comforting and make it easier to find your place without looking. Full customization software is great, though I don't use it very often.

Cons: The G11 key is badly placed (adjacent to the ESC key), so it offsets all the F keys, making it difficult to play certain first-person shooter games that use the 1-8 keys and F1-F8 keys where you normally would expect them to be aligned..

Other Thoughts: After using this for a while, I wish I'd purchased an illuminated keyboard instead.

4 out of 5 eggsAdequate and properly built against ghosting

Pros: I purchased this keyboard specifically to fight being kicked from Battlefield three and four for ghosting or entering too many commands at once in a metro fight map. SO... this keyboard served me well for that purpose, stopped the game kicks due to using too many keys at once with the cheaper 10 dollar keyboard.

Cons: Eventually it's brain suffered a seizure in which it will try to select everything in the STO Starship Tray at the bottom of your screen. I have not yet decided to shelve this thing or replace the keyboard. I am at this moment testing it to see what is what. I may need a new anti ghosting keyboard or go back to the famous old second run G15 which has never failed me approaching 10 years service.

Other Thoughts: It was a nice keyboard when paired with the A4 mouse. I think I have had this thing for 2 years maybe or more and probably will shelve it to the pile of dead keyboards if it turns out to have a dead or malfunctioning brain trying to select everything in the game. We will see.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's a keyboard.

Pros: -Has anti-slip rubberized WASD and arrow keys.
-A lot of macros and the macro software is easy to use.
-Media keys along the side, which I make excessive use of. It's far easier to use those than to fiddle with speaker volume all the time.
-Quite long cable, allowing you to use the keyboard at a fair distance. Feels good in your lap.

Cons: -Rather large, doesn't fit in most keyboard drawers.
-The legs could be a little taller and sturdier.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Keyboard, except for programming

Pros: -The keys all have good feel.
-There are lots of additional macro keys.
-The macro software is pretty good.

Cons: The biggest and most glaring con for me is that the '\' (Forward slash) key is in the wrong place, It's supposed to be on the top row. If you don't deal with having to write escaped characters like \n and \r on a rather regular basis this doesn't matter besides the enter key being smaller in the middle row, but when programming it gets really annoying accidentally hitting enter when you mean to hit '\'

It may just be me but I am frequently hitting f1 instead of f2 because of the g11 macro key.

Other Thoughts: -Although I do rant about what I do not like about the keyboard it really is a good keyboard, just not for me.
-Why would anyone want to move the '\' key?
-The wasd keys gumminess doesn't really do anything for me.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: the 15 programmable keys and media player controls are pretty decent if you can remember what tasks you assign to each key.

I guess the keyboard is comfortable enough.

Cons: the a.s.d.w. game keys stick together all the time so when you press an a you get an a and an s. or press s and get a d too. It's really really annoying. I'll probably put this on a shelf and use it as a backup or something.

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible Choice

Pros: I honestly don't find many pros with this keyboard.
I guess the slightly padded gaming WASD keys are a little more comfortable than standard keys. I noticed my fingers were a little less sore than usual after long gaming sessions.

Cons: Very low angle when feet are up. It might as well be flat. I have mine propped up with my old wristpad.
Not normal sized keys. In order to make room for all the gaming shortcut buttons they compressed the size of everything else. The space bar is seriously only 2.25".
Feels cheap to me, but I also feel most keyboards are not made as well nowadays and feel cheap.
Even though I understand it is meant to be a gaming keyboard, I still wish the WASD keys were labeled clearly.
The enter key is very small.
The function buttons don't line up with the numbers below.

Other Thoughts: I wish I had studied the photos of this keyboard more closely and checked the size and layout of things. This keyboard has been very frustrating to use. I'm a fairly regular gamer (a few days a week), but certainly not what I would consider hardcore. This is my first gaming keyboard, and for my level of gaming I find it completely unnecessary. I would have been much happier with a more traditional keyboard that was of higher quality. I keep complaining to my wife how much I hate typing on this thing and she said just get rid of it and call it lesson learned. I may heed her advice and start from scratch.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty nice

Pros: The software is great. Very versatile, allowing for custom key mappings and combos even for mouse clicks and other functions (like copy/paste/etc), too many to name here, and can save multiple user/game profiles. I also really like the soft red keys which is nice for games that use WASD.

Cons: I am shocked that they added the "G11" key between "Esc" and the "F1" key. This offsets all the F1-F9 keys from the 1-9 numbered keys directly below them. If you play BattleField games, this will be an annoyance, but you can sort of get used to it.

Other Thoughts: I wish this keyboard had a backlight.
