Don't be confusing!
Pros: 16 gig model for 8 gig price, it's like free stuff! Expandable storage, the gift that keeps giving. Refurbished, that means it's been gone over and is re-certified on a slightly more personal level than the regular production line.
Cons: Refurbished also (usually) means used.
Other Thoughts: What can I say, Refurbs can go either way for some people. I personally don't mind them but it Is something to consider.

Pros: Great! if you like Android and android type OS's, because its simple to dual boot to just use android without having to root it. very light and fast for simple task. the battery holds a charge for most of the day, a little less when on wifi all day.
Cons: little sluggish for me compared to my daughters kindle fire but is NOT so slow its frustrating.
Other Thoughts: not sure what Nook or where RevBC bought his nook but they scammed him/her saying it came with 16gb of RAM... mine has 1gb of RAM and not up-gradable without some serious soldering and tech knowledge.

Solid, Inexpensive Tablet
Pros: Reasonable price. 16 Gigs RAM. SD card slot. Nice B&N Android interface which I think is about as good as Kindle's. I have not had issues, but support and web info (forums) available is good. Also, I have rooted mine and am running a Honeycomb interface, which lets me choose between the B&N "look" and the vanilla Android look. It also lets me run the Google stuff and several alternate markets.
Cons: I don't have any complaints except for an occasional software glitch or force close. Obviously, for the price it is not the fastest and does not have camera, bluetooth, etc. And 7" screen can be small for some things.
Other Thoughts: This is a good, solid e-reader-based tablet which can function in it's original state or be considerably modified to add many more features. In the end, I think it does fine and is a good, solid bargain. (And I would not have bought the 8 GB version even if it had been out when I got mine -- I want all the memory and SD I can get!)
